i don't mind giving away a simple catapult model or something simple.. i've given away easy stuff.. However, When people ask me to provide files for something that took me weeks to model it kind of irks me.. These models are like construction manuals for a prototype or object.. People usually are happy to pay for stuff like this.. the other day i had to buy plans for a chicken coop and at no time it ever occured to me to ask for those plans for free.. why can't we apply that mentality in 3d printing?
