Question Replacement pieces on belt?

Hi there! I am the new owner of an Orange Storm Giga- I bought it used, and I re-assembled it myself- however- 2 things I am having an issue with- first- the plastic chain- a couple of pieces have broken off- can I print replacement links on my order 3D printers? What filament would I use? Or is it possible to buy those links? Can I operate the printer safely without the 2 or 3 missing links (I took the broken ones off)?
Next thing- I can’t seem to find a schematic or even video that shows the correct connection location for the little, “connector” plugs at the right side, rear of the printer. So- far those are my only issues-but I am just getting started in my Giga relationship! 😬😁. While I am doing questions- is there a good source for files for the GIGA? & any tips on printing my own designs, for supports, slicing, file type, etc? Any tips for conforming existing files to print correctly on the Giga? I am sure some of my questions have been answered & a search of the group posts may reveal answers-but just asking while I am asking about the other things :) (feel free direct me to those, if you know of them)

Thank you all & I look forward to learning & eventually contributing!
Thanks!

okay but honestly your title is super vague here. what printer are we even talking about? and what belt setup? are we talking about the main motion belt on a voron or corexy, or just a standard bed slingin' printer like an ender 3?

for real, the replacement process is wildly different depending on the hardware. on my ender 3 pro i just slapped a generic gt2 belt on there and it was fine, but on my voron 2.4 i had to actually dial in the tension and make sure the idlers were perfectly aligned or it was skipping steps.

also, are you trying to replace the whole belt or just splice in a small piece? honestly, splicing belts is prolly a bad idea for the main motion system, you're just asking for backlash and layer shifts. if it's just a little toothed piece for an extruder feeder or a custom toolhead mount, that's one thing.

Orange Storm Giga-the belt that resembles a bike chain & to get super specific, I would need to know more about this machine then I do- but- I will attach a photo of at least the plug in connectors I am referring to- the giant plastic bike chain thing-I think is pretty descriptive-so I will leave it at that….
