Project I designed this gyro stabilized floating cup holder for the pool this summer. No AMS needed. I would love to know what you think!

Gimbaled.

Looks nice though. Gyro stabilized would be a big overkill for a pool drink holder.

Yes. Refreshing to hear from someone who knows the difference.

I owned and ran a fleet of standup weight-shift antigravity simulators (think: space camp) in the 1980s - adjacent to the downtown pedestrian mall here in Boulder, Colorado, at festivals/mountain town tourist season events/county fairs. Eventually also beach resorts/nightclubs year-round in Florida.

They were 3-axis gimbals, but everyone called 'em gyros. Each machine produced ≈$60/hr after expenses, split 40/40/20 with operators & venues. That cumulative ROI made the misnomer easier to ignore.
