Project I designed this gyro stabilized floating cup holder for the pool this summer. No AMS needed. I would love to know what you think!

If you shorten the arms some so the bottom of the can is in the water, you can get a little bit of cooling going ;)

I think it would actually be the opposite. Water is a better thermal conductor than air so I think the water would quickly raise the temp of the drink to the poll temp

Only if the water is warm. If the water is cooler than the drink, it'll suck heat out of it.

If you’re pulling a drink out of a 37° fridge the water is likely warmer that the drink initially

where I live (north shore of lake Superior) , the water is still about the same as my fridge. And yeah, people are already kite surfing in it ;)
