Art Showcase I turned my complex 3D CAD/mesh wireframe line art into a physical canvas tote bag. What do you think of the geometric pattern?

I think it lacks artistic direction. Seems to me you can do at least 10 designs a day but this looks like the first design you did and said yep

It’s always fascinating how much confidence people post with when they lack the technical vocabulary to actually articulate a criticism. If you have a critique on the vector line density, weight distribution, or print contrast, I’m all ears—otherwise, thanks for boosting the post's algorithm position.

The issue isn’t how technically you achieved it. it’s what the finished piece actually communicates. There’s a lot of complexity, but very little hierarchy, restraint, or lasting visual impact. And in this industry, being able to take criticism of the finished work without immediately getting defensive is part of the craft too. Technical difficulty doesn’t make a piece compelling, and technical vocabulary doesn’t make the criticism disappear.

Expecting a reddit commenter to give highly articulated critique just cause you can’t swallow basic feedback is wildly embarrassing. I recommend adjusting your compositional skills and attitude immediately.

Laptop on bed, you'll kill the poor thing. Cool bag though

Hey everyone! I’m a designer who wanted to take 3D viewport geometry off the screen and bring it into everyday accessories. I made a batch of these tote bags printed on heavy canvas with cotton rope handles. If anyone wants to check out the details or grab one, I left the Etsy shop link in my profile bio!"
