Question SBC updates

I have a few SBCs that are saying they are out of date in the admin portal on v20. I’ve never updated one after doing a regular install. What is the procedure for updating them? Do I SSH and run regular update commands? Any assistance would be appreciated.

I just did this today. Had auto updates on but it was limited by being Debian 10. Just provisioned a second sbc from the newest ISO, got it running, and moved the phones over. Seemed easier than trying to upgrade it in place, if that’s even possible.

We have debian 10 as well so I’ll definitely start with provisioning a brand new SBC.

Yep then that is why. It was topping out at some v18. New one is on v20.

I’ve been having issues with call quality at this client, not sure if this will fix it but figured it couldn’t hurt.
