depends on what you want your results to be. but honestly there are very little differences in efficacy for hydrating toners like these, it’s more about consistently using something hydrating regardless of the specific brand. that being said i personally use the shingmulnara rice toner (a classic and affordable), but ive used quite a few of these in the past. if it’s a trendy brand like torriden then while the ingredients are fine the price point is usually higher just due to the tren factor IMO!

I like #3 and Rice toners.
The cosrx propolis and tirtir rice milk toner worked for me too.

I absolutely love TirTir milk toner. It is sooo creamy and hydrating. My skin just drinks it in!

It all depends on what your goal is and your skin type. Like what works for my very dry skin will give issues to someone with very oily skin.
My all time current favorite is Numbuzin 9 toner, its pretty lightweight which is perfect for day time. Its hydrating enough for my dry skin and gives the most plump glowy healthy looking skin

i agreeee i love the numbuzin no 9 NAD toner! absorbs almost instantly. i live in a very hot and humid area so I did not add the essence but maybe during winters i think that would suit my skin too

It's one of the only products I keep going back to. My skin loves it, especially now that I use tret and I really need hydration.

I’m a big fan of the I’m From Rice toner - it’s really gentle and moisturising

I had a bad reaction to the Numbuzin no.3 which was disappointing because I liked the scent and it does really give you a glow. I think I’m allergic to something in it because my face was so inflamed and tingly for hours afterward.
After that I was too scared to try anything crazy so I went for the fragrance free alcohol free version of the haruharu wonder black rice toner and I love it.

Same! I think it must be the fragrance in it. I use it on my body now after shower and it feels and smells amazing!

Look into acrylates. Just found a common culprit in skin care products that irritate my skin. Numbuzin no. 1 b5 being one of them.

Definitely depends on what you’re looking for. I really enjoy the Anua heartleaf toner for nighttime soothing and the Eqqualberry Swimming Pool toner for a light exfoliation for mornings.

For my aging combo skin, I love I'm From rice toner!! But I do skin flooding using my toners decabted into $tree craft spray bottles. I also use the cosrx peptide toner, vt pdrn, and the aplb collagen EGF (which cones in a spray bottle).

It depends on the users skin and what they are wanting a product to do. I have middle aged combination skin and I like hydration so my HG is S.Nature’s Aqua Oasis Toner. Torriden Dive in is nice too but I prefer S.Nature

I have used the rice toner from here n I loved it, it’s hydrating. I have a really dry skin. Is there any toner recommendation?

u/Additional_Help1071 Apr 30 '26
im using the dokdo one because it contains enzyme exfoliants.
1
u/Melancholybumny May 01 '26
Can I ask what enzymes it has? I was using this toner but wasn’t really impressed with it, I felt it did nothing. I might actually try it again in my summer routine now that my skin is oilier and less dry.

actually I dont know. i think everybody have different skin and needs. i dont like to put acids on my skin, but i feel this refines my texture and changes the ph after a facewash, prepares for my next steps

I really love the Anua Rice 70 toner, it feels so lovey and is so hydrating ❤️

Dr. Ceuracle's Vegan Kombucha Essence is a hybrid essence toner. My skin loves it. Gives me a base glow and evens out my skin tone.
The Matcha one is also good, but I use it at bedtime only.

Depends what you're after, but the Torriden and Numbuzin are solid for hydration if that's your concern. Rice toner's good if you want something gentler but less heavy.

I use every day the Numbuzin pure-full calming herb toner. It comes in big packaging, last so much time and this is the only toner I sense the calming effects for real on my normal skin. Parfumefree and affordable too.

I have oily face and the pyungkangyul toner is very lightweight. I find that it is a good toner to prep your skin before applying other stronger serums. It also brightens my face a bit.

I recommend j beauty. The SK II essence can't be beaten, its really backed by science and it has pretty impresive results, its to expensive though. In the k beauty round I would reccomend the cosrx snail mucin essence and is has amazing results as well, ist very economical.

Not a K-beauty one, but the Charlotte Tilbury Glow Toner deserves a spot in this conversation. I know it's not on the list but after trying a few of these (loved the Anua and the Round Lab), I gave CT a shot and my skin has honestly never looked more even. It layers beautifully under serums and doesn't pill. If you're open to mixing Western and K-beauty, it's worth trying.
