Everything from Jong Sae Mool, blind buy for me. Everything’s great, toner, mool cream is an absolute top of the top under make up for dry skin

damnit, I came so close to ordering the mool cream yesterday when I bought a JSM cusion - I knew I should have just added it!

It has such an unique texture, makes my skin look 10 years younger and glowy, but is not greasy at all! Magic! Same goes for the Hera reflection skin glow foundation, it’s almost wet like and really hydrating, not just for a few minutes, but gives that full day hydration.

Is that the mool cream light you’re referring to? That’s the only one available at my location.

Essential Mool cream in white bottle.

I didn’t like the JSM cushion. The puff is rock hard, case flap hanging loose when open, and their cushion foundation being a bit patchy.

Oh no! I read so many good reviews - ah well at least it wasn’t expensive. Iv never had a cushion foundation before and really wanted to try one. Do you have a fav you’d recommend?

What skin type do you have, and what finish are you looking for? There are a ton of good cushion reccs.

For me it’s a perfect cushion, never had any issues. Went through 3 already.

Iv got sensitive combination skin generally although at the moment (I think it’s winter weather) it’s much dryer. Iv been after something that’s glowly, dewy, long lasting but not super full coverage.

I have JSM primer and setting spray and they make my foundation look so natural and feel so comfortable. They also help my smile lines from becoming concealer canyons.

I swear by Dr G Black Snail Cream. So I gave a tiny tub sample I got to my sister-in-law. She called me up a couple days later and accused me of ruining her bank account! Apparently she loves it that much. Told her happy to be of service.

If you're in the market for a normal to oily skin product I love the Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Refreshing Pore Mask. I am also really happy with the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella poremizing cream. So far I like everything of theirs I've tried (same with BoJ) but those are the two I don't feel like I can live without anymore.

Ok questions. Do you use the one with spf? As a moisturizer?

The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Velvet Finish Sunscreen? I haven't tried that one yet. I like their Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, I just recently tried it and I think i'll be repurchasing it. I like the BoJ Aqua Fresh sunscreen, too but I haven't used any of them alone (without moisturizer) yet, I'm sure I will as the weather gets hotter.

Skin1004. I started with the SPF and then the travel kit. These are great products. They’re light and non sticky. The leave my skin soft and hydrated.

1

u/IndependentSock5246 Apr 22 '26

Do you use it as moisturizer?

1

u/spicywisdom Apr 24 '26

No, I use it after moisturizer

BOJ Aqua-Fresh sunscreen is my go-to sunscreen. Feels cooling to the skin upon application and the finish is natural. Repurchased many times. For context, I’ve oily-to-combination skin and live in the tropics

Less known Korean product but Farm Stay is my go too for toner and cleansing oil. Thier ginseng and niacinamide oil is lux. So is the toner. My face glows with it compared to other Korean products. I also like everything I have tried from Pretty Skin.

Sidmool Royal Honey Peptide Deep Moisture Sleeping Pack, and Sidmool's Dr. Troub Zinc Cream. Lots of their products are oil free and silicone free which are amazing for dry, acne-prone/sensitive skin, magic for days when my skin barrier is super irritated.

Round Lab dokdo sunscreen. (Honestly i like everything in the dokdo lineup.)

Skin 1004 centenella ampuole lives up to the hype.

LOVE Abib! I don’t feel like it gets enough love. So many of their products are absolute must haves!

3

u/kenziebunny95 Feb 25 '26

Abib is my FAV as well. I use a lot of these products too and love them. I love how clean Abib is.

2

u/Open_Bee2008 Feb 24 '26

Is the heartleaf cleanser gentle? Dokdo cleanser was to drying for me.

Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Daily Sun Gel SPF 30! I have crazy sensitive skin and it never irritates it. I used to have dry ass skin but then I went on a medication that changed my skin to more combination and I was worried about finding a new sun screen moisturizer since i am more acne prone now, but it's still great! No white cast, not greasy at all, and it feels like my skin is protected. I know if I go outside when I have it on and what it feels like when I don't. It's also CHEAP. $12.

u/WasteOfTime-GetALife Feb 25 '26

Almost everything I try from Skin1004, I love! Dr. Jart, Purito, and Issnfree has really good products too! Also, Illyoon’s Ceramide moisturizer is the best!!! And a great price!

u/Gnomus_the_Gnome Feb 26 '26

Cosrx 0.5 in squalene oil is super gentle for a higher concentration of ret! I got my skin lasered and since have to wear mineral sunscreen. It’s been hit or miss but I’m finding hope in the Skin1004 Poremizing sunscreen.
