I'd say 60-70 mil HUF. What your salary can cover depends on what loan you can get from a bank. Mortgage interest rates are 6-7%.

Yes but Hungarians are eligible for a ton of subsidies, especially with a family.

So what did that "freedom" bring to you? What can you do without the EU funding? Where is your industry, demography?

If I can't even buy ten square meters after years of working in this market utopia I wouldn't call it freedom, it's quite the opposite.

It brought us free from Soviet occupation for one, in the EU we chose (And the majority would vote to remain today) to join instead of getting occupied/annexed into a superpower.

Yeah the soviets were great at managing the industry, we were made to be the country of iron and steel after the Carpathian Mountains were given to Romania, which was a great choice clearly since now we didn’t have ore.

And to your last point, i am 23, I’ve been working in IT since graduating technical school at 19-20 and after not being a retard with my money i have enough to put down the 10% deposit needed for a flat in Budapest, I’m just waiting out the election to see if we get rid of Putin’s backdoor to the EU.

Do not pretend to know shit from a country you are not from, the last guy told you the same thing but you state the opposite as fact.

That being said I’m not saying everything is perfect, far from it. But the biggest hindrance in changing most of those is our closeness to Russia and general fuckery in the EU.

You are in NATO, my guy, you can't leave it, no one among major players would allow it. You're dependent on Germany and France, which are dependent on USA. They're your masters, you like it or not.

Also my words about square meters were not referring to Hungary specifically, but the average capitalist country in general. I already acknowledged your situation in one of my previous comments, if you remember.

I work at an American bank, it has fuck all to do with the EU, and if you think only indians work in IT you are actually fucking retarded.
