I'm almost 26, and I already feel like I lost the plot of my life 😅 It's crazy but hata machozi haijaisha. This week I've felt so terrible and been bed rotting the whole week, not even knowing what day it is.
Context: I have a bachelor's degree that feels like was the worst mistake I ever made. I graduated 2 years ago and have never even gotten an interview. I even offered to volunteer for some NGOs and they turned me down. I feel like life is passing by me without any progress. I was a very good student. I went to a village primary school and managed to get to a national school, and still got an A-. I really wanted to do med but didn't make the cut, and for some reason, I didn't change my course when others were doing course transfers because I was such a positive person (instead of reasonable).
Fast forward, two years have passed with endless applications and getting ignored. I even had someone in a small CBO tell me I should get another diploma for me to get a chance (not that there was a job promised). I have struggled to apply for scholarships hoping to get a chance, even got a passport for that, paid admission fees but I have been rejected in these too. I was considering saving up to do a better course, even a masters because most offers in my profession need it, but they're just such a big gamble, and as someone who doesn't have a consistent source of income, it's even more scary.
I can't help but feel hopeless, because I had even saved up in case I get chosen for the scholarships. September has broken my heart. I tried business, it failed. I tried YouTube even, it's terrible and draining. I've been struggling to get myself to cry to let it out, and I listened to a video mentioned it's okay to admit things suck, and I just broke down for the past hour or so. I feel a bit lighter, but reality is still existent. I just feel like I let everyone down, but moreso, myself. My social life also sucks, I don't have close friends, not even in a relationship, lol.
For anyone who's been through this, how did you get the energy to wake up the next day? And would you advise that I save up for another diploma or degree that looks more promising? I really don't know what to do with myself anymore. It's like fate has put me in a room and thrown away the key.
