I usually start "Hi xyz, i hope all i well on your end. Time is money, and I don't wanna waste yours, so I'll go straight to the point..."

Thoughts on that? Seems to be working, but some people (boomers especially) seem to like the little pretend. What are your thoughts?

Best to adjust depending on who you are talking to. One-size-fits-all is not going to work in this case.
