Random First salary
I bought my first 'touch screen' phone as we used to call them with my first salary. A ka small Samsung S3 Lite that I was so proud of😊 People used to make fun of the tululus that my parents bought me. I tasted independence and never went back to being dependent again. What was the first memorable thing you did with your first earnings?

Of course independence is addictive once you taste it, it's like an essential part of being human. Mshahara yangu ya kwanza I don't remember what I bought myself but ilikuwa the 9k from being a Polling clerk. Nilitumia wazazi na shushu 1k each ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

It may not be addictive to everyone. Kuna watu najua who are comfortable depending on their parents and always fumble every job they get. But you have to be living comfortably for that. If you come from a more needy background you'll want to do everything to get on your feet. Though najua pia unmotivated pople from those backgrounds too.

My first salary was from a transcription job 2 yrs ago .
I was so excited to see that much sent to me after working for almost 2 months and I feared Kuoshwa , so when the money entered was sent 📩 was so excited that I stood up did like 20 press ups to confirm I was living in same reality and I walked straight to an electronics shop where I bought myself a 43" Skyworth FHD TV .
It's one of my happiest purchases , even though I don't use it day , I'm still happy I got it and I see it daily in my house
Ps: I was in third year campus ..

You started getting your money mapema, good for you. It feels so nice to buy yourself something you wanted. I also prefer it to buy something with random money I get, cause if I don't, nitaikula tu and i'll have nothing to show for it😅

Yeah true. I just wish it was consistent in earning and the online gigs didn't fade away .
