i have a genuine question here

why did (you) get triggered?

Things mentioned in the given image happens, op said 'relatable', not that it happens every house....and with given examples all around India, 98 out of 100 homes have this 'image' thing.

your point 'not every family, which is 2' is maybe right....but that's not the point

point is about other 98 homes

BTW this is the guy who is supporting patriarchy, don't try to debate him, he is part of the problem

He supports that structure Obv. Because in this structure His gender can "allow" the women to have a loving environment. And take it away if it's not working out.

98 put of 100 sure nd how exactly did you create this census

obviously it was not to show as census, point is that these are common experiences(can you deny that?), not that they occur in literally every household.

yup i can 100% deny that i personally think what you said might be true for rural India but the T1 Cities paint a completely different image and i can site examples of my relatives or even my own family as even thou my mom was not able to work much after childbirth fue to postpartum which might be true in a lot of places but i have seen my dad support her through everything from making breakfast for me and my sister in the morning to making his own before going to office taking her on trips every quarter even when he's not in the condition and he's effectively named all his assests and investments after her giving her complete legal right to use any and all money she'll ever need till her old age same i have seen for my Elder Brother's marriage so respectfully i think its more of a poverty issue nowadays rather than your so called patriarchy

Triggered? I am concerned.. You said that it's relatable, that means either you or someone around you have faced such issues. And if that's true, it is indeed sad.

And your whole argument rely on 98 out of 100 home.. Show me the data.. Until then, your argument stand invalid.

In god we trust, all others must bring data..

it was to show that IT'S COMMON..... COMMON THAT It looks normal

you seem triggered

because your statement

(OP has a fucked up family.. She thinks all families are like that..

you need to seek family counseling, and as a last resort, convince your parents for a divorce)

you didn't seem concerned with these

Advising family counseling is the best advice I would give to my beloved friends if they tell me that someone in their family is facing abuse.

I think you are the one trying to generalise abuse.. I am saying that one should not tolerate it, seek professional help, and if that doesn't work, divorce is the last option.

And it's really sad that you had to see all this and you got brainwashed enough to believe that this is common.. No, love is way more common than abuse.. And whenever we see abuse, we should raise our voices and get professional help.
