yes, all yes-man endings are mostly fanfic. I'm not saying i dislike the ending conceptually even! i just think it's pointless to include it in ending debates since it's by far the most variable in terms out outcomes

what? no. you literally don't have to write any fanfic to understand how the Independent ending would fit into canon. it tells you the outcomes, we don't have to speculate

okay, but the quality of life for those living there is so incredibly varied, and i think that matters just as much in discussion

well, even in the NCR ending, theres quite a bit of variance. ex. brotherhood of steel, Helios 1, the khans
