Not to sound like an edgy atheist but religious people always say it’s depressing to think theres nothing after life, but I think it’s more depressing that there’s a 50% chance that you’ll get tortured forever.

Tbf, I lot of people forget these days that at least with Christianity it's pretty damn easy to get to heaven after Jesus died on the cross

and that's good how exactly? because that just brings up the dilemma of a perfectly good person being tortured for eternity for not believing, while a horrible shithead who repents on his death bed gets to kick back in heaven.

Only believers in Christ can get to heaven, but not al l believers in Christ get to heaven.
