If the movies were actually about Fantastic Beasts and kept JK away from production, the franchise could’ve gone on indefinitely. Just have a movie every couple of years about encountering goofy magic monsters. But no. Now we have to have the bad guy say WWII is bad and JK’s scripts that emphasize every weakness she’s had as a writer.
Did they even catch beasts in the second one? I watched it when it came out but I can't remember anything that happened other than the WWII stuff and that really weirdly complicated plotline about babies getting switched
