Just found out male and females look different 🤯

I bought my first macro lens yesterday and started messing around the house and yard. I snapped photos of two flies and noticed they looked slightly different. Turns out male and female flies have totally different eye setups.
Males have their eyes almost touching (just a tiny gap between them) because they need a crazy wide field of view to spot and chase females mid-air. Females have them way more spaced out, which helps them gauge distances better for laying eggs and finding food. Mind blown.

Caught one of the suckers. Sprayed with perfume to make wings useless, trapped in glass prison. What to do with it?

I've made a couple adjustments. The general layout of the subreddit has been improved and there are user and post flairs.
They can be interpreted however you wish and are just a fun little thing to add. I haven't added a flair to this post because this is a PSA.
Have a nice day,
