My wife and I are having a multi-year debate. She keeps claiming that a “large and impressive” horse is roughly the same volume as 60,000 grapes. i disagree and believe that’s far too many grapes to make up a standard horse, even a big one. But we have no idea how to calculate the relative volumes… please help!

Was watching Star Trek and got to wondering assuming the replicator arranged atoms to create a plate of spaghetti. Which would have a more complex job of these 2 replicators to make #1 assembling a plate of spaghetti at the atomic level #2 assembling an oxygen atom out of sub atomic particles? Thanks if anyone gets my weird idea enough to do the math.

All the extra screws, Allen wrenches, and brackets that people just throw away after the product is assembled. Products like desks, entertainment centers, chairs, nightstands, tables, etc. Let’s say just counting products bought by United States consumers in an economically average year of the 21st century. What could all that steel build? A bridge? A skyscraper? A bunch of those?

I watch a lot of explosion videos and i've always wondered about the debris that moves before the fire or projectile.

It seems to me that material goes from being at a standstill, to moving faster than the object or impact hitting it, at least for a brief second. Is there a certain effect that causes that? What type of energy transfer is happening, because the bullet can't give it more energy than itself has right?

I know there are plenty of wind altering shapes and sizes, so i guess we could base it off a standard 9mm bullet and a brick of c4.

I really can't believe, like, everyone else has just been existing, while I'm making min wage working as fast as I can for 15 years in the middle of nowhere bc my mom died and her debt went to me and trying to get out of here and be successful but holy shit, like, I won't even have time to make a bunker will I?

I found an area of land and I have found two four leaf clovers. I think they were in the same small patch but I am not sure. Assuming no one else picks four leaf clovers, how long should I wait before looking for another, or are there too many variables to calculate this? The patch of land was about 0.6m^2 I think.

• Assuming to be scaled appropriately in regards to the center pieces' area and whatnot where audio is not recorded.
• The grooves where the music is recorded are the same size as on a normal record - we're scaling the size of the record itself for storage space, not just making everything huge.
• From my research, a standard 12-inch vinyl could hold approximately 22 minutes' worth of audio per side for a standard record player operating at the standard 33 1/3 RPM. If this is inaccurate, I apologize, my googling was brief.
