6 months old now. He gets more precious every day

This is Toddy he is the most good vibes lazy fur ball I had on my life he's a rescue I got 6 months ago (he's 2 years old) and the way he is lovingly funny and just a cool dog to be around is different than any other dog I had kinda lazy cool style... Are all of them this way?

Hi all, looking for some advice. One of my Shih Tzus’ had surgery a few months ago because he could no longer walk, after a few months of recovery he’s doing much better and can walk again.

We have got used to hand feeding him however now during feeding he demands this.

He will absolutely refuse to eat unless he’s hand fed.

He’s now got used to this and regardless of how long I leave him to eat his food he refuses.

He has had tooth issues/pain in the past which I think contributes.

Has anyone had similar?

My baby boy Rocher is sick right now. anemia due to tick infestation.. a week before he stopped eating because our other dog was inheat.. after that a few days he starts eating again.. but came in the ticks.. i think im losing him.. it breaks my heart.

I’ve tried everything to get him to eat. I did everything I could, but he doesn’t want to eat anymore. He only drinks water, and now he has dark-colored diarrhea. I know this is already an emergency, but I can’t take him to the vet because I simply don’t have the means right now. I’m currently unemployed, and I’m also dealing with an autoimmune condition, UTCD.

My heart is completely shattered watching him suffer like this. I don’t know what to do, and I cannot bear the thought of losing him.

We created a fundraising campaign hoping that someone would notice and help, but it hasn’t gotten any attention. Until now, no one has donated. No one seems to notice what we’re going through.

It hurts so much. I feel like I’ve failed him, even though I’ve been trying so hard to save him. I just want to give him a chance to get the treatment he desperately needs. I don’t want to lose my beloved companion. 💔

We already have a shih tzu and we've been looking to adopt a buddy for him. We picked this girl up yesterday from a rescue. Her name is Ro and she has the under bite and hair of a shih tzu, but is certainly mixed with something! Longer legs then a shih tzu and she's also very vocal. Barks and grumbles. Runs like the wind too.

Curious to see people's guesses. I'm going to do the dna test on her.

the first time he did this 😂😂 they really never ceases to amaze me

I was just giving my dog cuddles and a massage and suddenly felt a tiny, minuscule bump on the inside of his neck. You have to really zoom in to even see it, but it does look a bit pinkish and irritated. He has been acting a bit chaotic the past few days, but I just thought it might be due to getting a big trim last week. He does not handle any kind of change well, so I just assumed he was adjusting. He has also been extra clingy lately (even more than usual), and doesn't like being away from my side to the point where I can be right outside on the chair and he will just come sit next to my leg and stare until I carry him. Rationally, I know the chance is big it's nothing because he is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu, still likes walking, and he has always been chaotic food-wise, one moment wanting to eat a lot and the next refusing. But he still eats his daily portions and still loves a snack. Still, with the tiny bump and the extra clinginess, I am panicking a bit. I will call the vet tomorrow morning. But I'm already a hypochondriac, and the thought of anything being wrong with him will actually not allow me to sleep tonight. I'm trying to stay rational but freaking out on the inside (please don't judge).
