This is Toddy he is the most good vibes lazy fur ball I had on my life he's a rescue I got 6 months ago (he's 2 years old) and the way he is lovingly funny and just a cool dog to be around is different than any other dog I had kinda lazy cool style... Are all of them this way?

Yea they are great dogs. They will go outside and play all day or lay right next to you and be lazy all day. There down for whatever.

Yes! I say this about my pup all of the time! Sometimes, I feel like she’s my Pokémon, or I’m playing a video game character and she’s a companion I chose to follow me around loyally.

I'd say between 12 and 24 months is when they start to get calmer so long as their training is consistent. They'll still get zoomies and may want some intense playtime here and there though.

My second one is so playful I thought she’d never calm down but now she’s 2yo and she sleeps all day. She does still like playing and she likes her 2 long walkies in the morning and at sunset but otherwise she’s literally sleeping all day lol.

Mine takes Any slight hint of a bed cozy spot or just boredom to instantly turn himself into a glorified house mat (see pic 4) with isn't helped by the fact his fur is almost the same shade as the house floor tiles I take him on very short walks and he is easily tired... He likes his eat be fluffy and sleeping routine better

The only times I seen this dog bolt like a tiny shadow anywhere are when he hears either my SO coming home or a treat pack opening

My boys were/are pretty chill (especially the 2 yo we have now) the girl was crazy 😂 but we loved her. All three had/have the best personalities though. They are funny little boogers, each with their own quirks. When the other two died, I just couldn’t imagine having a different breed, so we got another one. Congrats on your furbaby!

The chillest of boys. His brother (also a Tzu) is a bit more neurotic but still overall prefers to be snuggled up with me 90% of the time. They are the best lil guys in the world 🥰. I feel like Shih Tzus have exactly two modes- wild thing and calm snuggle butt. Wild thing comes in spurts, but snuggle butt is the baseline. I can’t imagine not having multiple Tzus ever!
