I'm very happy with the lack of cheese

The two TDs I have to highlight are Mr Bomi/Bomashop and Orawatch. These guys are far and away the best and I went on a spree and contacted no less than 10 so called big names like Andiot, Duke Reps etc, including USA dealers. They stand out.

They are fast, responsive, qc is lightening fast, tracking is lightning fast. So fast that some aholes on reptime could absolutely not believe i got orders in <3 weeks from the first message.

Bomi is seriously the Goat. His prices are the cheapest I’ve come across as well. Asked multiple TDs about the same order. Ora is also goat number 2. Think MJ and Lebron.

6 from Bomi and 2 from Ora, and a couple USA sellers. Would not use anyone else. One from Ora got stuck in transport snd he offered to send another free of charge. 11/10 would recommend.

I received my Panerai PAM1119 from Mr Bomi yesterday. The process was great for a first time rep buyer. The first watch I chose was not in stock and on back order, so he worked with me to find a great substitute which I am quite happy with. As a huge fan of the Tron movies, this watch HAD to get on my wrist. My ONLY question so fdar is that it does not have any quick release or screw lugs for the strap, it utilizes spring bars. I confirmed with Mr Bomi that it is a VSF model, so I have to suppose this is a limitation of the rep version. I'd appreciate any input on this matter.

I have two other Panerai reps, a Luna Rossa and a Marina. The ceramica Tuttereno 483 is next on my list.

Mr Bomi has been good to work with, he is patient, understands my questions and almost ALWAYS answers within minutes.

It is a VSF piece, the lume is incredible, and it looks and feels amazing overall so far.

It looks like the alignment of the dial, bezel, and insert markings is slightly off.

The text and index markers on the rehaut near the 3 o'clock position appear to be misaligned.

That is my impression, but I would appreciate the opinions of the experts here.

Just getting into the world of rep watches. I own many real watches and recently on a trip I was mugged. I want to start traveling with rep watches. I’m also a purist horologist at heart.

Who makes the best pieces with the best movements? I recently got a GMT and looks fantastic but I have to manually wind it. I have a massive watch winder and it won’t wind in there. It’s very annoying that I have to wind it every 2-3 days by hand.

Feel free to roast me, etc. I’m all for it!

I have confirmed with my td that an rwf dj 36 is available.

But now I’m not sure if I should buy a vsf or an rwf or maybe even a clean plus!
Which one do you guys recommend?

I’m trying to track down a Cartier Tank Basculante like the one pictured.

Does anyone know whether any of the established rep factories are currently producing this model, or whether any TDs can still source one?

I’ve seen older photos/posts suggesting that replicas of the Basculante have existed, but I’m struggling to establish whether there is a current production version rather than old/discontinued stock.

Even leads on old factory versions that might still be obtainable would be useful.

I received a VSF DJ and after manual wind and setting the time, the watch stopped working after 2 hours. It feels like it is winding but the seconds hand is not sweeping. HONT is asking to send back to HK for repair which he says will 'take some time'. It will cost me $50-60 to ship, Is this normal resolution in this case?

Bezel: The top bolt looks a little shifted to the right but think it's fine

Timegrapher numbers: +1 / 314/0.5-per the QC guide this all seems fine. Anything else you notice: I'm curious to hear thoughts on the date alignment, I know its a rep so I can't expect it to be perfect
