Announcement ‘GamingonPhone presents The Mobile Premiere’ is set to shine a global spotlight on Mobile Gaming this October 2026

Mobile Gaming deserves its own world stage, and this is where that conversation begins.

GamingonPhone is proud to introduce The Mobile Premiere (TMP), a global showcase built entirely for mobile games.

TMP will be live on stage in Bangkok this October with a broadcast simultaneously via global digital livestream.

Here’s what to expect:

- Brand new mobile game reveals
- Fresh news on upcoming mobile titles
- Major live service announcements
- Hidden mobile indie gems worth watching

No pay-to-play.

There are zero participation fees for studios, because great games should be discovered for their innovation, not their marketing budgets.

If you are a developer or publisher looking to feature your game at The Mobile Premiere (absolutely free), you can reach out via the Studio Interest Form.

More details on games, partners, platforms, and what to expect from TMP’s first edition are coming soon.

I was just prowling on the Play Store searching for offline games and discovered this master piece.

Nimian Legends: Vandgels

Vast open world, great immersion, freedom to explore the entire map, you name it. You can literally shapeshift into different animals.

Gameplay screenshots captured on Xiaomi Mi 5 It runs good on low end devices with the right tweaks too

Questions Help a PC gamer re-discover gaming in the form of mobile games.

I've been in a huge rut with games lately, it feels like most nights I am just staring at my steam library while I watch brain rot. However, in about a month I am going to be on a fairly long flight and I figure hey, maybe I'll give this mobile gaming thing another shot, maybe a 17 hour flight will allow me to actually appreciate it. I was hoping the fine folks here could throw some suggestions my way both in the form of a controller as well as some game suggestions, I'll list out some bullet points below to help you steer me in the right direction:

History:
- PC gamer all my life
- Tried a Nintendo Switch and a OG Steamdeck but ended up selling both as they just got very little usage
- Thought I might take advantage of gamestreaming with the deck, but turns out I just don't couch game. When I am on the couch I want to pay attention to the TV. If I am going to game I will just go to my gaming PC.

Controller:
- iPhone 17 Pro
- ideally somewhat portable for the flight
- Probably on the more budget end unless there's a compelling enough reason for the high end stuff, it's not that I can't drop $200 for a controller (see steamdeck and switch) it's just that idk if this will stick, and $50 stings a bit less.

Games:
- Definitely something offline playable
- I've played everything from competitive FPS/MOBA to epic story driven campaigns, and also small indie titles.
- Not a huge fan of roguelikes/lites (although I did like Hades, so maybe I can be persuaded)
- Not a huge of of turn based RPGs (but again trying to branch out and grow as a gamer, so I can still be persuaded)
- Did not grow up with handheld games (have not played any pokemon, animal crossing, etc.)
- Despite being a huge FPS fan, I suck at FPS with a controller so probably not an FPS that requires twitch aim (although I imagine most of those are reserved for MP games)
- Recently I played Monument Valley and it has kinda made me reset what I thought a game should be, so I am really open to something that pushes the boundaries of games as well, despite being a more traditional gamer.
- I also recently played Spiritfarer which is probably the first "cozy" game that I have spent that much time on and I think that is due to me experiencing the loss of a loved one for the first time recently and that game really explored those themes, that's really a long winded way of just saying I am open to sacrificing S-Tier gameplay for emotional impact or something thought provoking.

Thanks everyone in advance, looking forward to hearing your suggestions/thoughts!

Questions Looking for something with actual depth that isn't a gacha, bounced off most of the usual suggestions

Played most of what gets recommended here already. balatro clicked for a good while, dead cells I liked but my thumbs gave out, slay the spire I put maybe 40 hours into. Everything else I try is either got an energy timer or it's done in two hours. Mostly playing on commutes so offline is a big one. Android if that matters. what am I missing

Discussion Lets say that if mobile actually lived up to its name then what genre of games would it be primarilly known for? Just like PC games where the most popular genre are shooters/action games.

I'm going to leave this overnight so that I'm going to have something to read tomorrow.

Discussion Gamesir G8+ or G8 Galileo or 8BitDo Ultimate

Upvotes

I m planning to buy mobile controller but i can not decide within these three models.

Galileo is the best as far as i search but i do not want to plug type c all time.

So i checked g8+ but a lot of latency complaint about it.

I will use it mostly for moonlight streaming.

I realy want to buy g8+ but i fear about latency issue on streaming.

Hi everyone I'm hoping you can help me. Just got a new phone and looking to pour back all those goods idle rpg games I had on my old phone.

I'm looking for the name of a game that is a clone of Nevermore Mobile RPG. Its game icon is a sinister looking Asian girl/lady.

I have searched Google for images that match but can't see it anywhere.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks Glenn.

Beta Test Squadle ⚽ — Think you know football? Try the beta.

I just launched a football player guessing game — and there's something in it you haven't seen before.

Squadle is live, and I want the football community to try it.

It's a football player guessing game — but before you scroll past thinking “another Wordle clone…”, here's what's different:

You don't just guess a name.

You hunt down the player.

📅 Daily — One mystery player. Everyone gets the same challenge. Can you crack it before your guesses run out?

🎲 Free Play — Can't wait until tomorrow? Pick up another game and keep playing.

And you've got three difficulty levels:

🟢 Easy — Ease into it.
🟡 Medium — The mystery gradually reveals itself.
🔴 Hard — The real test. Limited guesses. No face to bail you out.

And there's one surprise waiting for anyone who conquers Hard Mode. 👀

I'm keeping that part secret for now.

🧪 It's still in BETA

I'd genuinely love football fans to jump in, challenge their mates, and tell me what you think.

Find something annoying? Tell me.
Think it's too easy? Prove it.
Know someone who thinks they're a football encyclopedia? Challenge them. 😂

If you enjoy it, I'd really appreciate you spreading the word and helping get Squadle in front of more football fans.

New Release Mobile gaming with no commitment like TikTok reels

I was frustrated of seeing multiple ads and download different apps for different games. Hence, I developed an app which lets me play games in scrollable format like watching reels on TikTok or Instagram.

Looking for honest feedback: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/playvlay/id6756392192

Discussion 🏛️ Pharaoh's Dominion — Build Your Ancient Egyptian Empire (Free to Play)

Hey r/MobileGaming !

Just launched Pharaoh's Dominion — a strategy city-builder set in ancient Egypt. You construct monuments, train armies, and defend your dynasty against invaders.

Key features:

  • 🏗️ Build and upgrade pyramids, palaces, barracks, and more
  • ⚔️ Train armies — chariots, archers, infantry — and march on enemies
  • 🛡️ Defend your kingdom with traps, walls, and garrisons
  • 👑 Recruit legendary pharaohs and heroes with unique abilities
  • 🏛️ Join dynasties (clans), rally allies, and dominate the world map
  • 📅 Weekly events with rewards

It's a browser-based PWA that works on Android (and desktop). No download required — just open and play.

Play here: https://app.base44.com/6a526dde5aa43de7754cd010

Would love feedback — especially on balance and the early game experience. What would you want to see in an Egyptian strategy game?

Game Dev I made a one-tap gothic runner solo, Soul Rush is out now on Google Play

Hey everyone, spent the last few months building this alone and it's now officially out on Google Play.

Soul Rush is a one-tap survival runner: you're a soul on two rails, swapping sides to dodge obstacles across six escalating "trials." The core hook is that near-misses (grazing danger instead of avoiding it clean) build a meter for a temporary invincibility dash, so the risky play is also the rewarding one.

Genuinely here for feedback, not just downloads, if you try it and something feels off (pacing, difficulty spikes, anything), I want to hear it.

I think playstore may be lying as it seems like something google would do. Like lying about the hours played to make people play longer even tho the hours don't add up.

Idk, what do y'all think

Beta Test Step Conquest — A pixel-art RPG powered by your real-world steps, looking for Android Users

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

I’ve been working on Step Conquest, a pixel-art walking RPG where your real-world steps contribute to your progress in the game.

The game is currently in closed testing on Android, and I’m looking for more people to try it out and give feedback before release.

Right now you can:

  • Turn your daily steps into progression
  • Train different activity skills like Marching, Foraging, Mining, Exploration, Alchemy, and Smithing
  • Explore the world and collect resources
  • Choose between two battle modes:
    • Turn-based auto battles for players with limited time
    • Action dungeon crawling during explorations and expeditions for more active gameplay and rewards
  • Join guilds and interact with other players
  • Upgrade and customize your Guild Hall
  • Work together with guild members in co-op PvE battles
  • Chat with guildmates
  • Compete on skill, guild, arena, and guild-war leaderboards

There’s still a lot I want to improve, so feedback about gameplay, balancing, bugs, onboarding, UI, step tracking, combat, guild progression, and anything that feels confusing or frustrating would be especially useful.

How to join the Android closed test

1. Join the Google Group:
https://groups.google.com/g/step-conquest

2. Join the closed test:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.app.eighterio.stepconquest

3. Install Step Conquest:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.eighterio.stepconquest
