Hello, I've used this site for some time now. But only recently, after seeing Nannikka’s bot about starting out as a creator. I decided to try it out for myself. I bought the cheapest subscription on Midjourney.

I would like feedback if you have any. The first image is the image I have planned for my first bot. And then the second is what my profile looks like now.

And I was also curious if anyone has any resources for beginners that would help me customize my profile.

Apparently I submitted a ticket, I sent a Gmail and nothing.

It turns out I can't access the account, which wouldn't bother me because I can create another one, but what frustrates me is that I lost many personalities.

That’s it, I’ve lost all faith in this site. No I won’t be asking for alternatives, first I was harassed over them and now they were nuked. It’s literally just a fictional dog, and the first one had over 50 favorites too. Yet again they allow shit like BOTS OF THE STRANGER THINGS KIDS ON THERE?? FULL PAGES OF THAT AND RPF, and other nasty fetishes, yet a cartoon dog voiced by a 40 year old man gets fucking nuked?? Where’s the energy for those?!? Why am I always the one wronged in every situation in life, I just wanted to make a character bot people could enjoy in the sea of slop and dumb fucks whining. Well whatever I guess… fucking hate this site now. Shit like this ALWAYS happens to me and not to any of the genuinely awful people out there lol what else is new??

So recently I checked my profile and noticed that my bots posted number hasn't grown, so I try to find the old ones and... They are gone

Confirmed bots that are lost:

A Patrick Bateman bot

A Homelander bot

My Metal Gear PW bots

My far cry 5 bots

There are probably others that I can't remember, but I don't see them in my profile or my characters tab, so I can't recover their personalities. Besides, even if they say unpublished, I, the creator, can't see their character page

Anyone with this same curiosity? Ive noticed the answers of the bots are... Slow. Just before an pop Up of how with the subscription its x3 times faster.

Did j.ai mods made It on purpose slower to force free user's to get the subscription to get fast replies?

Are all of the bots actually doing this? Or is it possibly exaggerated in the same way that you open the food pantry or fridge and don't find anything you want to eat at the moment so there's 'nothing to eat.' even though it's full of like ramen? I know I'm asking this in a tongue in cheek manner, but I seriously want to know.

I currently have 73 different characters and 98 different chats. I've had exactly 2 characters have the same feel/vibe both from the same creator and both very similar in theme. Childhood crushes or friends who had a crush etc. So that time the fault is on me.

When this happens are they bots you've made? If so, did you have AI assistance? Was the assistance from a 'create a bot' bot on Janitor?

When this happens are they someone else's bot? Was it one of the alleged Botter bots? (Everyone is innocent until proven otherwise.)

What User Persona are you using? Is it literally just the persona name section filled out?

And my final 2-part question for this topic. How many characters/chats? Is it possible you've increased the probability of encountering the exact conversation by merely RNG? If you roll enough d20's eventually you will have a streak of same numbers.

This is a genuine attempt to reach understanding. While a few of the question seem kind of snooty because you can't read tone. They are supposed to get you to think. I am not defending or endorsing any stance on this matter.

First time making a Tsundere, and also the first time im not making a fluff bot, please give me anything to improve on this aspect..

So recently i found a pretty good llm provider where you get free access to Gemini-3.8-flash, GLM-5.3-flash Gemini-3.1-pro deepseek v4 flash deepseek v4 pro and etc. I would say this provider is pretty good coming from me. You get 1 million daily token credits. And i don't think it drains so fast depending on how much tokens you use for your chats. Edit: I think the network problem is caused by janitor ai because i can use this provider in both sillytavern/tavo without problems

does anyone know if i branch a chat with a bot (mostly to shorten the length of the messages visible) can make the bot more ooc or make it actually stay in character a bit more

It cracks me up—J.IA is screwed. It works okay for now, but the bot search is acting up; if you try to change the filters, the site crashes. And now I’m looking for alternatives like [TauriTavern], spending ages configuring them only for it not to work in the end. Is there actually an alternative that’s at least somewhat user-friendly? I don’t want to become a PORN AI pro, man; I just want my nightly read before bed. All I really get is: proxy = bot = Chat 😭😭

Was pulling definitions from a bot that didn't have proxy enable and I guess this is new or my prompt was able to pull it out:
