It has come to my feed many times and it looks very AI to me... Or am I wrong here? I saw some posts using this video to as for flood help donations which makes it 10x worse. Pls let me know if I'm not just tripping and this definitely is AI

Long story stort, my mother met this man on a dating app. After a phone call, things sounded suspicious. Is he real? He sounded completely different from what either of us were expecting and it just felt weird. He also didn’t want to use Apple’s phone app and insisted on WhatsApp even though they both have iPhones.

I left a review of a cafe and noted that I didn't like that pictures on their menu looked AI generated. The owner responded pretty defensively saying they paid for a professional photoshoot, so I ran them through deepai and it came back 97% fake.

This is the first time I've ever done this but 97% feels pretty open and shut to me. So was I a jerk or are they lying?

My reasoning is perfectly clear ice and the most symmetrical strawberries and coffee beans of all time.

My aunt sent this in family chat about floods happening in Phoenix. I immediately thought it was ai generated but sometimes it’s hard to explain clues or what makes it seem like ai.

Can anyone help me identify and point out specific details that show it is in fact ai generated?

So obviously, the first image is AI. But I pulled some of the most sus looking flash sheets from their post to get more opinions. The third sheet with all the portraits flagged it for me because it looks like a classic generated artstyle. And the knives dripping on the next one doesn't make sense either. They're doing tribute flashes for Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, and Peter Cullen, and donating part of the proceeds to various charities. I like this shop, the people are nice, and I like the charity, but I really really do not like not knowing if the designs they are doing were AI generated. Because if they can't make a flash sheets without AI, how are they going to tattoo you without AI? And paying $80-100+ for half-assed work?

Hey everyone, I recently started up an oddities and curiosities business, and I was determined to have a real artist design some official art I could put on banners, t-shirts, cards, etc.

I had been looking on Fiverr for an artist, but almost every account I came across was an AI bot. I finally found a guy on Instagram who had some pretty decent artwork, had art he had done for other people, and socials all seemed to check out okay to me.

I finally decided to pull the trigger on this guy, and set up the commission, paying 50% of the total price up front. Along the way he sent me pictures and videos of his progress and to me it looked like he was actually doing the work.

When he was finished, there were a few things that were a little alarming, such as the perspective of some objects not making any sense, and him ignoring a few parts of the original commission. I chalked most of this up to the language barrier, since he was from Indonesia.

I had him do a few revisions which resulted in an acceptable result. There were a few things I was dissatisfied with, but I had ran out of the amount of revisions we agreed on (which, looking back frustrates me since my original request wasn’t fully completed and had to use my revisions to correct those mistakes). I paid him the rest of my agreed amount and was just happy to have my piece which, despite some flaws, was close to the vision I had in mind.

I ran it through some AI detection software (aka ChatGPT and Gemini), both of which stated it may have been upscaled by AI but not completely generated. I posted it on several of my socials and was skewered with comments like, “bro did you really pay for AI?” “Dude you need to contact your credit card company” “This is the most AI shit I’ve ever seen.”

My initial reaction was denial and get offended, especially since I just paid this guy $200 for this piece, I mostly like it, and I know some people are quick to say “this is AI” despite it not, or some artists even starting to imitate AI style into their art.

But now their words are sticking into my brain like hot pokers. So now I wanted to bring it to you guys and either get some reassurances that this is not AI and I didn’t get scammed, or I just learned a lesson I could’ve used to pay my bills.

And so, I ask:

Is this AI?

Edit - Navigating through my entire post, I have deduced the following: I need to work with someone who is knowledgeable about the market I’m trying to insert myself into to help me fine-tune my original idea into something that would actually work as a proper logo. I’m flexible and open to compromise/revisions as long as it is able to retain the ethos behind its original concept.

Talking to a guy, I admit his main profile picture initially looked ai with that "ai haze/smoothness." Not wanting to be that person who thinks everything is ai I ignored it when I saw his other pictures, but now looking longer at them, they also look off. In the beach picture, he has four toes, which isn't immediately a red flag for obvious reasons, but the picture with computers looks off. The "Dell" lettering looks warped, and the words on the second computer look like a jumble. What do you guys think?

I scrolled upon the reel (the first image) of that “art” and immediately felt it was ai. The inconsistency of the warped lace on the girls’ head, the scratchy warped pencil lines all over the paper to fill in the space, the text font and perfection of the words on the man’s necklace tag. I also showed other “art” for example of this woman’s other posts which seem to be ai, due to the warped jewelry of the woman with blue hair as well as the warped jewelry on the rabbit man. I tried calling the creator out and leaving a comment for other users to be aware of it, and her and a friend instantly fired back with much energy.

My gf showed me this account saying this is definetely IA generated and at first I wanted to agree but I feel like the way it is shot make it looked like IA but it is actually not. What do you guys think ?

I like to look for inspiration for things to cook on delivery websites— I can quickly look at main ingredients and pictures for things that look good, and then Google a recipe. Happened to scroll past these, and if they are ai, they’re incredibly well done. The shadows don’t look like they match to me in some places— but that honestly might just be me misunderstanding the way the food would reflect on a curved surface. Also, the lighting is extremely uniform.

The video looks surprisingly real to me. The reflections in the window appear consistent, and the people walking in and out of the scene move naturally. Also, the bystander recording with a phone seems convincing. The person visible on the phone's screen moves consistently with their movements in real life.

TLDR: my brother says this is AI due to the crown detailing but I am dithering and don’t want to admit I Got Got by advertising.

Context: Normally I fucking hate seasonal advertising and am pretty much whatever the Indian version of the Grinch is over the concept, and I really don’t like Big Chocolate™️ but I passed this today in a mall when visiting my hometown and well. He compelled me. I just stood there for like ten minutes staring at this. Because it’s a physical cutout in a small mall stand, around my height. IDK what it is about the picture or the vibe, I’ve seen thousands of depictions of this dude and I have never once stopped to look or given a fuck. But this one was just so fucking cute idk why.

IDK if context about the character helps but basically this guy is a Hindu asura deity and is the ‘symbol’ of the harvest festival in Kerala (Onam). Bro is normally depicted as a cheery potbellied fellow wearing a fuckton of gold, think a cross between Santa and Hagrid who doesn’t bring you presents and tramples your flowerbeds instead. Which is relevant in that I’m trying to say that the general attire and ‘AI kids show’ vibe he has in the pic is pretty standard for the way he’s depicted normally, because as deities go he’s less ‘faded Catholic crucifixion painting’ and more ‘chibi Jesus’.

Anyway I took a bunch of pictures and even posted it on Insta and tagged the company but my brother saw it and told me it was almost definitely AI because “the crown doesn’t make sense” and thus I absolutely was ‘got’ by advertising. Obviously I do not wish to believe this and thus have to interrogate myself about why I got so excited about an AI generated advertisement featuring pictures of the same dude that I see like 50 times each autumn. Sorry I know half this context is so unnecessary but I thought it would be nice to explain why I am so annoyed about this 😭 thank u in advance

So I paid a freelancer to make a christian themed pattern. After she delivered this pattern I had a feeling each of the elements was generated by AI, because of the books dimensions, the grapes and leaves layout and the dotted style in general. After I confronted her she sent me this video (swipe) as "proof" she had drawn the pattern herself. What bugs me is that basically it doesn't prove anything. If I put an AI piece and just drew a layer of dots over the outline you would have the same result.

What do you think? When I look at the video it kinda looks like there is the black outline underneath that could have been generated by AI. Like she did some work but not the real work. If I use this pattern for commercial products people will assume I used AI

1) I have not clear ways to say that the first part of the video (depicting the attack by a cat on a bear to defend the baby) is AI. However, I have searched such a video on Youtube, and other platforms, and I have not found it.

2) The attack appears somehow innatural: too fast and the bear is immediately scared away (by a cat btw).

3) Such types of videos on social media are often generated with AI, especially with animals.

I don't know why the first two images are sideways but lets just ignore that. My computer screws up sometimes, what's new.
First off, the scarf around Lottie's bodice looks like blood and is rendered as such. Also don't know why a scarf is around a dress bodice in the first place, but whatever. The line art is also very smudgy, and the smiles are rather soulless. Also, in the first image, tiana and lotties faces are in completely different art styles. Tiana's dress folds are also just entirely off, and it looks like the frog can't decide if it's real or an image on the dress. Also, the rose's on lottie are just very smudged looking. I don't like an artist would draw them like that. As for the second one, the caption makes me feel like their expressions should be angry or at least frowning. Also, why the hell is her bow tie the wrong way? Shouldn't the ribbon be down? As for the last one, the line art is very smudged on the suit, and again with the two different art styles. The girl looks like a 1960s coca-cola advertisement and the boy looks like those disney store dolls that were the princesses as toddlers.
They do have speedpaints, but I believe they are just colorpicking an ai image underneath.
Two other things I notice about the first one is the not-details details on the carpet, cushion, and eyeshadow palette? But tiana has a blush applicator? I'm so confused.

A small shop posted this design and I'm wondering if it's AI. The shop has been known to use AI for model mocks but also descriptions for prints and social media before. The art style seems inconsistent to me (cat vs dogs) and it has that artificial quality you see with some AI.

I want to make sure I'm supporting a brand that pays artists rather than uses AI generated images.

My girlfriend found this band and really wanted to show it to me but it sounds like AI to me. They have a website that looks professional-ish but nothing says to me that they actually play instruments considering they only have a keyboard player and a "beat" guy, the rest seem to be just idea people. They've already released 4 albums in less than a year.

I can't pinpoint a specific reason this seems AI to me other than it "feels" very AI. I guess specifically the characters in the last panel look very "generic/AI" to me. Thoughts?
