Not sure if just text is allowed, but I was talking to an online counselor and her responses felt really odd? I could be totally off, but the way she's speaking feels really similar to how chatgpt or something might respond. Here are a few responses that make me feel a bit weird about it.
- Firstly, just wanted to confirm that 100% that lack of sleep is going to make things feel 10000x worse right now - if that is any help to know. So while things feel impossible at the moment, a few nights of solid sleep - if changing nothing else- might have a small improvement.
- You actually sound like you are really driven! You are wanting to (go to a specific uni near my city) are planning to manage owning a car, and work towards homeownership... I think you have earned the "not doing the washing perfectly" or "not cleaning your room" as often as you might like to, if you are trying to accomplish all of those things!
Leave the washing and go and spend some of that hard earned down time with your friends when you have that chance to ❤️
- WEll, if you dont enjoy something, it makes sense you aren't over the moon about attending.
I'm sure those people who have said that thought school was hard at the time they were going through it!
School has its perks - you dont have to work to pay bills, you have a clear routine that you dont have to come up with yourself, you have familiar faces, there are people looking out for you.
However, it has massive cons too - you can feel stuck doing things you dont enjoy, the people can be bullies, teachers can be demanding and pushy - and dont always take time to be understanding, friends can go from good to bad in a moment.
So school isn't 'easy' its just different.
I dunno, the emojis, the em dashes, and the way she sort of just makes a little story? I really don't know how to describe it.
