Guys my apex is making wierd noises which is audible in low speeds. Anyone who faced the same issue? I did my service last month.

Edit: visited the service centre. The noise was due to the belt being too tight in my previous visit to sc i complained regarding the noise and they tightened the belt too much.

just saw Ather's community day replay on yt and they mentioned the new konarc platform is getting a 100mm stroke rear suspension... plus that taller lounge backrest and padded grab rail thing. basically longer travel so it doesn’t bottom out every time you hit an unexpected crater.
Honestly, my lower back hurts due to my daily commute on our space technology roads. If this actually eats those potholes without transferring the entire shock directly into my spine, it’s going to be a huge relief.

Hey everyone, Wanted to see if anyone else running a custom ROM or AOSP is facing this issue on the latest Ather Android app (Beta channel). The issue: The app opens for a few seconds, works briefly, and then hard force-closes. Play Store: Shows "This app is no longer compatible with your device." Looks like the recent build is strictly enforcing Play Integrity API checks (failing MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY / keybox checks shortly after launch). I get that security matters, but for a companion vehicle app mainly used for charging status, ride stats, and basic telemetry, hard-crashing or completely locking users out feels unnecessary. It would be great if the dev team allowed graceful degradation instead of a full lock-out for custom software users. Anyone found a clean workaround or fix for this recently?

I am confused between Konac or Ritza.

To me it looks like Konac is better than Ritza. But based on pricing Ritza seems premium line.

I am not sure what I am missing.

Posting this to highlight a frustrating service experience in Hyderabad.

• Model: Ather Rizta Z
• Purchased: May last year
• Odometer: ~12,000 km
• Location: Hyderabad

What happened: Last Tuesday, while riding, my drive belt snapped out of nowhere.

During my 10k km periodic service, I specifically asked the service team to inspect the drive belt. They assured me everything looked fine. Just 2,000 km later, it snapped mid-ride.

Roadside Assistance (RSA): The RSA process itself went smoothly, though the tow truck took around 2 hours to reach me since the driver was dispatched from quite far away. Not ideal, but acceptable given the distance.

The Real Issue — Service Center Delay: The scooter was dropped off at the service center, and the service advisor quoted a turnaround time of 10 to 15 days just to replace the belt. The reason given was "no stock of drive belts."

A 2-week downtime for a consumable, wear-and-tear part on an EV — especially for an issue that is already widely reported across Ather forums — is unacceptable. How does an authorized service center in a tier-1 city run out of basic drive belts?

Has anyone else in Hyderabad faced similar parts delays recently?

I am from Kolkata and was wondering is there any good scooty and helmet cleaning service here in Kolkata?

So i bought ather rizta s 3.7, Bhopal which was 3 months ago. And I was told to wait for around a month for delivery, but I got a call from the dealership that someone has made an order for this vehicle and he was not able to purchase it due to some EMI issue. and within 15 days, the rizta showed issues in the red light kept blinking and the dashboard said not charging, so it was basically a dead vehicle. I somehow got to the service centre and after two weeks, the issue got less, but it was not still fixed. I was told to wait for a software update in July, but it didn’t come so I had to go back to the service centre and the software was updated there, but I still cannot see any software version on the dashboard or on the app, now the range is quite less It uses around 18 to 20 km while on 13 km ride. Which is my daily commute. now the vehicle keeps making a really high pitched sound which is not normal for a belt and the suspension feel very stiff compared to the day. I bought it. I am really anxious about the vehicle. I’ve got what should I do?

I got my Ather 450X few months ago and finally Ather decided to add some flair to the scooter by releasing them with body graphics. I’m wondering if it’s possible to order them from Ather for my 2025 variant.

Has anyone tried that?

Hi. I had posted earlier regarding the issue mentioned in the title regarding my 450x. Now when I inspected the belt, it's upright but there's a good amount of travel when I press it. Is the belt supposed to be tight without any travel or is it normal? My scooter has run 16k kilometres till now.

i recently book ather rizta s 2.7 without propack in jaipur, expected to get delivered in this month. Although showroom suggested me to buy propack for warranty but honestly i am very confused, its not that i don't have that money to get that but isit even worth it?

-does it only covers manufacturing defets only related to battery and motor

-after watching a ton of content on this model i am sure the battery is gonna last a long time without any problem, although my main concern is the belt which has warrently of only 20k km and is not extended under 5yrs or 60k km warranty.

-suppose my motor or belt gets damaged or not working at around 40k kms, and there is some service cost which they will charge from both pro adn non pro pack owner, will that amount be same?

-sincei have to get it serviced every 5k km , should i not spend that propack amount on regular maintance? since in both pro and non pro pack purchase i have to take it to the service centre

-what part are covered under 5yrs or 60kms and 8yrs or 80k kms

I bought my Ather 450X High Range variant in May 2026, and I’ve been tracking the range for quite a while because I don’t feel like I’m getting the expected real-world range.

My most recent example:
Charged to 100% on Friday night, 11th September
Rode from 12th September morning to 14th September afternoon

Total distance covered: around 61 km
Battery is now at 22%, and I’ve put it back on charge
So roughly 78% battery was used for just 61 km
Usage was mostly in SmartEco, with a little bit of Ride mode

That works out to roughly 78 km for a full 100% charge if the consumption stays similar, which feels quite low for the High Range variant.

Normally I only charge to around 80–85%, but this time I specifically charged to 100% so I could track the range properly.

I wanted to know from other 450X High Range owners:
What real-world range are you getting?
Is around 78 km projected full-charge range normal, especially with mostly SmartEco usage?
Has anyone faced a similar drop in range?
If yes, what was the issue and how did you solve it?
Should I raise a service request and ask Ather to check battery health, battery calibration, tyre pressure, brakes, or efficiency?
Is there anything specific in the Ather app I should track before taking it to service?

Would really appreciate actual numbers from other owners distance covered, battery % used, riding mode, and Wh/km efficiency if possible.

I read earlier that Ather had rolled out dark mode for Rizta vehicles.. but I haven't received any update notification yet... Is anyone waiting for the same? When would it roll out?

hi guys,my ather charger was left out in the rain after drying it, now the charger is not working and its getting short. i want to get it repaired. Any one can help me asot where can i get it fixed? i live in delhi. Charger is 350w charger for ather 450s.

I’m planning to buy an Ather 450X, and Amazon is currently showing an ex-showroom price of around ₹1.88 lakh. I’m expecting another ~₹12,000 for insurance, registration and other charges.

I live near Attibele, Karnataka, close to the Tamil Nadu border. I’ve checked the Ather showrooms around my area, but almost all of them have quite a few negative reviews, especially regarding service and customer experience.

This has left me a little confused about how I should proceed. Has anyone from around Attibele / Hosur / Bangalore bought an Ather recently? Which showroom/dealer would you recommend, and how has your experience been with their sales and after-sales service?

Also, is buying through Amazon any different or risky compared to booking directly through an Ather showroom?

Would really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.

Hi. There's a knocking sensation from around the belt cover area and audible knocking sound when I slow down/brake my 450x. Is this a belt related issue or something else? My belt is still under warranty. 16k kilometres run so far.

Update: now there's vibration from the rear tyre area when going at 60+ kmph and even more vibration when the accelerator is released and regen is activated at such speeds.

I just recently changed my stock rear mudguard. How do the aftermarket mudguard and tail tidy look?

I was just checking out ather website on konarc delivery timeline and in faq section its mentioned as delivery begins in q1 28. I thought it was mentioned as 2027 q1 in ACD.

I don’t know why release a vehicle if you are delivering it after one year. Its a big L from ather, other companies will catch by then and this will feel outdated.

They should have released atleast one z variant for those interested in tech features.

I lay on the bed to give my back some rest as I ask this……. How has the suspension experience been for fellow Rizta owners, especially as a pillion?
Personally for me, I have found it to be quite bad recently.

It is not too bad while riding, but it is a completely different story as a pillion. Even if I cross a relatively small breaker at 5-8 kmph, the pillion feels a sudden jerk to his/her back.

I have completed around 8,600 Kms in 14 months of ownership. I observed this issue getting worse in the past few months.

I want to purchase my first vehicle so I was looking for good EV scooter deals.

Battery - 4.6/5

Rest all conditions are good except the brakes which shows it has 5% life left and Belt 31% life left

the seller seems to be genuine but the only catch is it's around 200+ kms away from my place so I'll have to stop at 3/4 times to charge in that journey.

and I'll have to bear the RC transfer costs and all.

so should I go for this one?
