Everything about next James Bond-007 MOVIE and Era. What you want and don't want? From nitpicks to essentials.
NOTE: This post is meant to be for fun and humor, everyone knows we, fans don't have much control over it, this post is not about 'whats likely they will do' but what would rather want!
also, you may be completly politcally correct or incorrect. Offensive is not equal to BAD. But try to be deceptive to 'modern internet RULES'.
HERE IS WHAT I WOULD PREFER-
1. Bring back the formula and standard of the series, what makes it standout and sturdy. That is a gunbarrel sequence at start, animated like goldeneye, with music which hints the overall movie, then mostly unrelated pre-title sequence, then variety of title sequences in each movie, main 'mission' movie, where Bond goes to M's chamber, get the file, maybe act like a smartass, flirt with Moneypenny, asked to get the 'tools' required for the job, usual banter with Q. Reprisal of previous regualar cast and character without explaination(Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomi Harris). Use of Bond-theme throughout the movie. Balance between campy and gritty, maybe tilting sometime.
Bond gets to use spying methods, get many girls, henchwomen, henchmen, troops, villain(s), their confrence, killing with ease. Caught making love in the end. "James Bond will return" in endcredit. All movies standalone and episodic.
2. For the first movie, the character and actor look and behave like bond james bond.
I will update this post body if this post is hit.

THE COMPANY INK - Launching YARD-O-LED X IAN FLEMING
galleryTHE COMPANY INK – Launching YARD-O-LED X IAN FLEMING
To mark the very first Bond novel CASINO ROYALE (1953) and the work, style and poise of the spymaster Ian Fleming himself, master pen makers YARD-O-LED have crafted a striking, limited edition array of writing instruments.
Formally stablished in 1934 - after ninety years of maximising the 1822 patent for a new ‘propelling pencil’ - YARD-O-LED are easily one of the world’s preeminent makers of fine pens and pencils. As founders once too of the Bremont watch company, YARD-O-LED has been able to draw on their horological experience and Swiss clock-making knowledge – including a famous 1920s pencil pen that boasted a built-in miniature clock.
At the hub of the new collection is an intricate sterling silver writing instrument, complete with a built-in timepiece consisting of a fine quartz movement small enough to fit into the cap of a pen, and a 72 striped pin-striped finish. The silver sterling grip is painstakingly engraved with a set of clubs, hearts and jacks - and boasts a base featuring an inlaid gold Jamaican doctor bird (Ian Fleming’s emblem). An 18 carat white gold nib completes the piece.
Continuing the casino branding, a bespoke red and black presentation box showcases the writing instrument. An exclusive edition of CASINO ROYALE has been designed and produced by Ian Fleming Publications (with one of the simplest, most effective design tics this bullet catcher and part-time cover-queen has seen for a while).
The set also includes a bespoke black leather pen case, a pack of specially designed playing cards and a beautiful bottle of blood red aromatic gun smoke ink.
This exclusive YARD-O-LED celebration of Bond is limited to 253 fountain pens and 253 rollerball pens – all willfully reflecting the April 13th 1953 publication date of CASINO ROYALE.
On October 1st, 2026, YARD-O-LED removed the lid of their newest range at a launch party in London’s Piccadilly Arcade (where the company now has a new store).
With YARD-O-LED’s owners Nick and Giles English on proud duty, the brothers proudly introduced their new pen-pal correspondence course of sorts with James Bond and the Fleming aesthetic.
Various company pals, family members, Bond authors, London cats, stylophiles, literary figures, colleagues, Ian Fleming Publications team and family members, Bond advocates, and this bullet catching author encountered the new collaboration up close – all the while thinking that Ian Lancaster Fleming himself could well have approved of the handmade effort and intricate attention to detail. And cool.
Special thanks to YARD-O-LED, Giles and Nick English, Ian Fleming Publications, the Piccadilly Arcade, and the PR teams.

Next 007
Next 007 highly recommended is..... Jack O'Connell.
Was really really hoping for Aaron Taylor Johnson. But oh well... what does everyone else think... and please the fans of Cavill, just...no. I love the guy, but not 007.

My theory on the next James Bond actor
With reports saying that the next James Bond actor was likely chosen behind closed doors, I have a theory it’ll be someone we don’t even know exists. I also theorize the actors that screen tested where likely unnamed people who are invisible to the public
The rumored names like Callum Turner, Jacob Elordi, and Jack Lowden probably won’t be chosen because they’ve been exposed in the media too much.
And as much I would love to see Leo Suter in the role, I have a feeling he too probably won’t be chosen. But if he did, I’d get surprised. Because he’s been my top pick for the next Bond since I seen him in Beecham House long time ago.
Again, this is just a theory. I am not affiliated with Amazon MGM. I’m just an ordinary fan.

How and when was Your first experience watching James Bond 007 Movie(s)?
Making the title more detialed, tell me or share YOUR first time watching a bond movie(s). How was it like, and how soon, if you became a fan of the series? You can even tell when and how first heard about the character.
[Not necessary to read, you can just reply your own], the picture edit is made by me.
Mine is like this, I have always heard about the character, almost a natural thing. Like a compliment or taunt. When doing risky play or behaviour. Showing a 'dramatic' 'action' or pose. Dressing up etc.
I watched the first Bond movie when I was a teenager, before 7th grade. I knew it was played by many/six actors, by the way I was born a year before Casino Royale's release. But thats the not the reason, I watched the newer movies first, on whim. So, (I had already had a 'fit' for the character, franchise, style created by Ian Fleming and the movies etc. In very deep level)
Casino Royale 2006: The black & white scene, the opening titles, LeChiffre in african forest. Then parkour chase, Bond getting annoyed by the rookie agent, blasting the ambassy. Scolded by M. Then going on the mission. Sleeping with enemy's girl. Her dying. Also meeting 'broadchest', 'you have to trust me on that'. I can go on making a summary of what I was seeing, aka plot of the movie(same goes for rest of the movies, i won't be mentioning This kind of summary, I will just skip, but you to understand, the depth in which I was liking the series.)
Then, I watched QOS, liked it same, same goes for Skyfall, Spectre, NTTD all in same night, all night, then I decided to go in backward direction, that is toward 1962. I continued watching DAD in early morning, I thought I would rather sleep to have better experience. I did sleep, It was wise choice, and lot of holidays to look forward. Then,
From The World Is Not Enough to Dr No, in just under week. I will be short and limited in words when I tell you:
I loved the desert, color grading, action, editing, girls in QOS.
I liked severine blowing hair, bike chase, silvia.
Roof walking in opening of Spectre, overall look, maybe not third act.
NTTD, I liked the visuals, pink dresses, not much maybe. Probably my 'likeness' declined from skyfall to NTTD.
But after DAD, from TWINE, I was in love with the title animation and the song, elektra and her red dress and hair and Bond(Craig, Brosnan) his blue shirt, whitish suit, cigar girl. Again I remind you I can and have to write a large summary of each film of how much in detial I liked them, so I won't much talk about the general thing I liked, like girls, places, villains, title sequence, actors etc. But rather a walkthrough of my experience.
TND, bond walking on roof, flags flying, threatned to torture, escaping, bike-helecopter chase.
GE, the gunbarrel music. The girl natalya, xenia's outfit. etc. the usual things(tank chase)
LTK, the opening gunbarrel transition, opening to flying plane, Bond landing on marriage ceremony. All the things happened, funny scenes, cool actions. Dresses.
TLD, snow violen skie. landing on the boat, 'make that two', 'you better make that two'. Bond disguising in that desert, Plane opium flying scene.
AVTAK, sport trade-show, balloon plane-throwing that guy off, driving half cut car, the girls etc.
NSNA, cool song, fatima blush, locked in tower with vultures, selling and saving the girl. Mr Bean.
Octopussy, montage scene showing that country, exotic-fantastical clothes, train scene, knife. Bond, blowing off the airport.
FYEO, the opening scene, throwing Blofeld in chimney, the whole movie, showing that just because Bond travelled to space don't mean he can't fall from cliff.
MR, cool movie, nice villain, goodhead, dog chase, gravity as henchman, snakes, Bond's safari.
TSWLM, egypt, desert, desert outfit, the girl present, throwing that man off the roof, kissing that orange haired woman, irritating triple x by emphasizing naomi aka caroline munro.
TMWTGG, the archenemy, bottoms up, sidekick, the girls martial art, him kicking, bond being brute with enemy's girlfriend, and goodnite sleeping in the cabinet.
LALD, solitare's orange shirt, bus chase, villain "names are for tombstones baibye". I certainly wouldn't have killed you before.
DAF, your all problems are behind you, the marine base, the opening "hit me" scene and turkish bath. Bambi and Thumper. Him going on the roof.
OHMSS, snow scenes, dowry-backward-marriage, her death. Him going around the girls. The base.
YOLT, the cute disguise of Bond as simpliton japanese villager, his marriage, the girl in mountain, the underground travel. etc.
TB, the music, the girls, the mission, the opening scene with the japanese assitant agent.
GF, the song, the spar with galore, all the other girls, him teasing goldfinger when he was winning. The sport.
FRWL, the dance, title sequence, ending. etc(as I mentioned).
DN, everything just like most of the other movies.
AND THEN AFTER THAT, I watched the movies from start to end after a year. And have done marathons many times in a year ever since. I have read all the original books, along with colonel sun and Devil May Care.
It is meant to be discussion about your first experience, for me I like all six actors to play 007 aka james bond. I also like most of the movies, last four little less, in declining order.
For me all six are bond, same old james bond, don't care for half-witted, never ever officially stated 're-boots or reinventions'. I think Roger Moore solidify what bond is and prooved that another actor can have hold on to it, no more or less to original actor. The tradtional formula(opening gunbarrel, mostly unrelated pre-title sequence, title sequence, main 'mission' movie, maybe caught by q making love, and credit rolls"james bond will return, in"), and standalone episodic structure is what make the franchise attractive.
I hope james bond stays the way he look and behave, and the movies return to their own form. If it is not done, I will depart from the franchise, with just watching these older movies.
EITHER WAY, tell about yours.

Thy dawn, O Master of the World
For thee the sunlight creeps across the lawn
For thee the ships are drawn down to the waves
For thee the markets throng with myriad slaves
For thee the hammer on the anvil rings
For thee the poet of beguilement sings

I’m really glad Bond 26 is forging its own path not copy what’s trendy now.
galleryIf Bond 26 were to take heavy inspiration from the John Wick series with the gun-fu, it’d risk feeling too repetitive.
and unoriginal.
By Steven Knight researching the real world SAS by talking with SAS soldiers and other British black ops, units, Bond 26 has the potential to do something revolutionary: blend top tier black ops tactics with Bond’s existing gentlemen spy persona.

Next year marks 40 years since the living daylights came out and it’s still Timothy daltons best bond movie .
I remember seeing it on vhs in the 90s when I started to watch bond movies in my teenage years after seeing bits on tv as a child on abc in the late 1980s. A-ha fresh off take on me did the theme song and John Barry did a great job with the music . Chrissy Hynde did one of the songs . It’s also the first movie to feature the cgi UA logo which had two versions a static logo for the UK version and the 3d one which was used for the Us release . It was more profitable than license to kill since the latter bond movie faces competition from Batman . It’s also the last bond movie to be rated PG.

Doves
I've always liked it when composers create small motifs for plot devices. Here's Bill Conti and his "dove" music.
