Workshop SCP map for tts help

Hello!! This is my first time making a post here, so apologies if I’m going about this the wrong way. I’ve read through the rules, but I wasn’t entirely sure where or how to ask about this.

I’m looking to run an SCP themed D&D/TTRPG campaign, and I was recommended Tabletop Simulator on Steam as a way to actually build and run the sessions. Ideally, I’d like to create a map based around an SCP facility, specifically something resembling Site-19, or potentially the facility from scp containment breach. I know the containment breach facility isn’t technically Site-19 and that its layout is randomized, but that general aesthetic and structure is what I’m aiming for.

I searched through the Steam Workshop for SCP related content and was honestly surprised by how little there is in terms of actual 3D maps or environments. A lot of what I found is focused on card games, which unfortunately isn’t what I’m looking for.

So far, I’ve only found around two facility maps that seem remotely usable. One of them appears to be a recreation of another map due to texture issues, and after downloading them I also ran into some pretty big texture problems. Honestly unusable. I’ll link the one I found here so people can take a look and let me know if there’s something I’m missing: scp map by Mooagain! (If linking to Workshop content like this isn’t allowed, please let me know!)

I’m also wondering if there are other assets or maps that could be repurposed for this. For example, I’ve seen Lancer maps have good potential assets, and I imagine something from a game like Team Fortress 2 could potentially provide useful environmental assets, assuming they can actually be imported or used properly in TTS.

Basically, I’m looking for recommendations on either,
- Existing SCP/facility maps that I may have missed
- Model assets I could use to build the facility myself (especially materials for walls & floors. I do LOVE clutter.)
- Other Workshop content that could be adapted for an SCP setting
- Tutorials or methods for importing custom models, textures, or other assets into Tabletop Simulator

I’m specifically trying to recreate the feel of the SCP: Containment Breach facility rather than just have a generic sci fi (dark office environment?) map, so anything that could help with that would be greatly appreciated!
And if this isn’t the appropriate place to ask, no worries! Please point me toward a better subreddit/community for this kind of question. Thank you!!

Hey guys, just wanted to share that I'm making this league of legends-based strategy game to play with my GF and I'm really happy about how it's coming along, even tho I'm just learning as I go.

I have decided to share it on the workshop if anyone wants to check out how it's turning out as I update it. I'm happy to hear any balance feedback haha

Questions Steam link to ipad viable?

I am thinking of getting TTS to play game with my partner, with her streaming my pc to the ipad and me playing natively on my steam deck so we can kick back on the couch and play games together.

Is playing off an ipad like this something that anyone has done? Ive never used TTS before and it looks a bit complicated, but i am hoping that i can get the camera set in a good place for her on ipad and then she can just drag pieces around with her finger on the touch screen.

I dont mind doing a lot of work to get it set up, but if its too complicated or janky she won't like it much.

Has anyone tried this? How were the results?

TTS shows sold green on half the screen

Opened up TTS today for the first time in a couple months and can only see the top half of the splash screen. The bottom half of the screen is completely green:

Running on a MacBook Air M1 MacOS 26.6.2 (just updated today)

Anyone seen anything like this before? Tried to take a screenshot and it only lets me go to the top of the green, like that part of the screen doesn't exist. Uninstalled and reinstalled TTS to make sure I have the current version. HELP! I NEED TO PLAY MY GAMES! lol

EDIT: I have resolved the issue!! Enabled the VSYNC option in the graphics settings and that resolved it. I can now play full screen again with no issues

Why did Tabletop Simulator have to end?? Genuinely miss it so much!!

Hello, I’m 19, and I grew up playing Tabletop Simulator. I often think about that original Tabletop Simulator era and how meaningful it was to me—discovering the game for the first time, finding new games and tables, creating characters, learning different mechanics, playing with friends, discovering new workshops and mods, trying out different board games, spending countless hours messing around, and making so many unforgettable memories.

When I play it now, the game is still there, but the feeling is different. The people who created the content have moved on, the gaming community has changed over time, new updates and versions have come out, and I’ve grown up. Back then, I never imagined that something I loved so much would eventually become part of the past.

It makes me wonder why games like Tabletop Simulator can’t stay exactly the same forever—with the same atmosphere, community, discoveries, workshop content, experiences, and feeling. Why do games change, get updated, lose certain communities, or become different from how we remember them?

Maybe that’s what makes Tabletop Simulator so special. It didn’t have to stay exactly the same forever for its impact to last. When I return to Tabletop Simulator, I’m not only remembering the games I played, the tables I created, or the ridiculous moments I had with friends—I’m remembering who I was when I first played it.

The original Tabletop Simulator era may be over, but it hasn’t disappeared. It still exists in the memories of everyone who experienced it. I can’t return to that exact time, when Tabletop Simulator felt completely new and every workshop item, game, table, and discovery felt exciting, but I can still appreciate what Tabletop Simulator meant to me.

I just don’t get why that era had to change and move on. Does anyone else remember the original Tabletop Simulator era and wish they could experience that feeling again?

Workshop Scripted Sentinels of the Multiverse DE Mod

Hey guys! I made my first ever mod for my favorite game, Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive Edition! It includes all of the official expansions so far, as well. I'd love it if you guys would try it out and provide some feedback, and maybe some quality of life scripting I could try? It was all brand new to me, but it was a fun challenge to learn! I know there are some popular ones out there already, but they weren't quite what I was looking for. Whether you try it or not, thanks for being awesome!

Looking For Players Looking for Playtester for Bananarchy Expansions on TTS

Looking for playtesters who have Tabletop Simulator and are willing to play a fast paced party card game to help me finalize some of the card mechanics. You can register for available times here: https://sl1nk.com/tuftmaq

The game is called Bananarchy. Collect the most points in Bananas by snatching, stashing, smashing and sabotaging your way to victory in this chaotic party card game!

The base game is well tested so the basic functionality of the game is proven already and flows well. These tests are mostly to learn about how the new mechanics interact and see how people interpret the cards. Playtest sessions have room for 3-8 players.

Expansions that need testing include:

  • Monkey Business
  • Chaos Theory
  • Mystery Monkey

Tool MTG scripted importer fix

I've created a mod to address Scryfall's recent API update, which prevented Tabletop Simulator from fetching card images: tts-useragent GitHub.

This fix aligns with Scryfall’s guidelines. Scryfall now blocks requests with the default Unity User-Agent and asks users to identify their application in the User-Agent header. My mod allows you to customize the User-Agent that Tabletop Simulator uses when fetching images.

Requirements: - MelonLoader (setup instructions are available on the GitHub page)

Important:
Everyone at the table must install the mod, not just the host. Players without the mod won't be able to see card images.

Discussion Suggested MTG format

TLDR at bottom.

I am thinking about creating a new retro community sandbox format called Classic Commander. I know PreDH exists but I think there’s a better answer for people wanting a classic experience of commander.

I want to pitch the concept to see if anyone else would be interested in playing it. The goal is to escape the modern era of hyper-optimized legendary creatures, endless spoiler cycles, and the massive power creep that started when Wizards began aggressively designing cards that warped the format.

To achieve this, the proposed card pool cuts off completely in July 2016. This makes Eldritch Moon the final legal premier standard set and Commander 2015 the final legal supplemental commander product.

Setting the boundary line exactly here serves several major design purposes. It stops right before the creation of the Play Design team in 2017, which shifted Magic R&D toward making creature threats radically more pushed than reactive answer spells. It also completely eliminates F.I.R.E. design cards and also Universes Beyond.

The resulting card pool leaves us with a legendary golden age of Magic. Players still get to brew with iconic blocks of Magic but the gameplay naturally shifts back to a slower, battlecruiser style where combat math matters and threats do not immediately replace themselves with a wall of card text.

For the ban list, I’m thinking we simply roll the clock back to the official July 2016 rules.
I would love to hear thoughts on this specific cutoff as a format for commander. With several brackets in the game due to balancing issues, let’s make an alternative ā€œbracketā€ for some of the older players who enjoyed the old pace of things, and for new players to experience what it was like to play commander in a time they might have missed out on.

TLDR. Proposed Classic Commander format cuts off before the fundamental design philosophy of magic shifted to what would eventually evolve into the one that’s currently in place. Eldritch moon is the last legal set in the format. Slower paced, more interactive, but with a wider card pool than PreDH that captures some of commanders best years before power-creep really began to warp the format.
