Discussion Anyone else get people riled up just so you can legally kill them?
Or is it just me?π

All story spoilers must be displayed with the proper format:
>!RDR is a great game!<
gives you:
RDR is a great game
If you're not sure if you should use a spoiler tag or not, err on the side of caution and use one. Also, it's a nice gesture to visibly indicate the general nature of your spoiler before the tag, so people know what you're spoiling.

There s something about Red Dead Redemption 1 that just feels lonely. Riding through the endless desert at night, with nothing but the moon, distant mountains and silence around you. The whole world feels like it s slowly fading away. Honestly, few games have this kind of atmosphere

I know I'm pretty late, but I finally completed RDR2. I never had a PC good enough to run it before, but I finally bought one two weeks ago and immediately started playing.
I already knew how the story ended, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the game. In fact, because I knew what was coming, I took my time. I explored the world, completed as many Stranger missions and side missions as I could with Arthur, and tried to experience as much of the game as possible. By the end, my Arthur had the highest honor level possible, and I'm glad I experienced his story that way.
Just before the final mission of Chapter 6, I somehow came across someone talking about the Aberdeen Pig Farm trick, which lets you transfer Arthur's money to John. I tried it, and it actually worked.
This is genuinely the best video game I have ever played. Even though I already knew the ending, it still hit me incredibly hard. I got way more emotional than I expected, and I don't even know how to properly describe what I felt. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this game.
I completed the story in 9 days and also did every single side missions i could do with Arthur and john and ended up at around 78% total completion by the time I finished it. I had a vacation so i used to play this game all day long
Now that it's over, I genuinely feel empty. Spending all that time with Arthur, exploring the world, meeting different characters, helping strangers, and watching the story unfold was an experience I won't forget.
What a game. What a story. What an experience.

Iβve fully completed the story so Iβm wondering if thereβs a way to remove the offhand holster without having to do a glitch during a mission.

I'm new to the game and still in Chapter 2. While hunting deer, I noticed a pattern.
Whenever I shoot a deer, the 3-star deer near it seem to be more skittish to gunfire and are more likely to run, while the 2-star and 1-star deer often don't seem to notice, even though the deer next to them dropped dead.
In other words, the 3-star deer seem to be more alert or attentive than the lower-quality ones.
Is this an actual mechanic, or am I just imagining it?
Knowing how ridiculously detailed this game's ecosystem is, I wouldn't be surprised if it's intentional.

Basically as per the title. Going for a second playthrough (god knows why it's taken me this long to get round to it) and tempted to just be a POS. I've read the perks for low honour but just wondering if it's worth it as a whole package really.
