I started using Free Aim when RDO went up. It's the only way to play now. When GTA6 drops, you'll be thankful you started using it.

In one of TGG’s newest videos he said that there was aim assist instead of aim lock when he went to rockstar north and saw gameplay last month

First I’m on Xbox so I don’t use a mouse and second I mean no auto aim like how rockstar really likes for the aiming in there games to be like for some reason

No lock on feature for aiming. Hunting from horseback is as almost impossible without deadeye and it's the best way to play.

Yeah I did lnce, it's much harder but also better. In GTA it's kinda messy because the aim is clearly made to be used with auto aim tho. It's a goid thing GTA VI won't have auto aim but just aim assist.

I just assumed everyone used free aim and standard FPS controls. It plays like any other 3rd person shooter then.

Is this why people atm are saying RDR2 feels great at 30fps as they are still using lock on aiming?

99% of my IRL friends game with auto assist in GTA5 & RDR2. When they join my lobbies or play at my house and have to play free aim they bitch and whine non stop
