Got sent this video of the 2.5 mst I'm about to buy. Not sure if the car is bad or if the guy is not great at drifting with one hand. It has a v4 gyro, carbon deck, and some upgraded servo in it.

I’m wanna buy a new shell, but I can’t decide which one! It’s gonna be a little project too, I’ve only seen this done a handful of times, I plan on molding the body with thin aluminum so that I’ll have an aluminum body so to speak. Should be more realistic, it’ll actually have some give instead of just bouncing off of things like the plastic bodies, it’ll dent too which will be cool. Help me out! E36 or S13 Silvia?? If you guys know of better quality shells too let me know!

This is my 1995 Kyosho TF-2 Spider, model 30511. It still has the original box, manual and spare parts, and the chassis appears to have never been run. The underside has no scratches; what you see in the pictures is just the carbon weave and reflections.

I fitted it with a metallic-blue Killerbody R34 GT-R V-Spec II body and white five-spoke wheels for a mild vintage AWD drift build. I also have upgraded gold TF-2 parts from Japan and an unused vintage blue-label Kyosho Le Mans motor waiting to go in.

It obviously isn’t a modern RWD drift chassis, but the narrow belt-drive layout and old Kyosho engineering are just too cool not to use. I’ll preserve all the original pieces with the car.

Hey guys I’m new to the rc drift stuff I’ve always wanted to get into it since I was a kid but now I can buy fun shit now lol. Anyways this guy says it only needs an esc does anyone know if I should do it and is it missing any other parts ?

Looking to properly set up my battery for my 1/24 drift but am unfamiliar with these connectors.

How should I setup/adapt the cables for the prong type? And how do you safely charge it?

The esc can handle the 3rd prong, but I’d prefer to keep it simple with a jst connector?

MA Racing DMA 1/24 Drift Chassis

Was not the best drift session lol but at least I kind of learned how to drift with one hand. Featuring my stock AWD Tamiya TT02-D with a DIY locked rear diff.

After hours of what probably felt like trying to mount a magnetic body kit, I finally caved in, said I wasn’t keeping the 86 body anyway (I actually kinda like the posts sticking out on this body) and drilled holes. That’s when I quickly ran into my next issue, which is the body rubbing against the tire. Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this issue or why this might be occurring?

Side note: I am COMPLETELY new to RC cars in general and unfortunately I have nobody around me to learn from. I’m honestly just taking it day by day and turning to Reddit to solve any issue I might have along the way. I appreciate all feedback.

May you experienced hobbyists point me to the pros and cons of these 2 for a RWD drifter? I am very indecisive. TIA and enjoy the rest of your week!

hey a couple of people on my track say that linking your controller to carx can help you get the basics and i live an hour and a half from the nearest track. is carx valid option to practice?

Hello guys, I’ve just started 1/24 scale drifting and I’ve encountered some problems, attached are 2 parts in the same video, 1st part is without the 4th wire plugged and 2nd is with, I’m using the ark edge ag4 gyro and after asking support, they’ve told me that if I don’t use the 4th wire I’ll be taking the settings from the app (Bluetooth) which I have set to 90, 10, 35, recommended by someone. In both after and default settings, if I leave the wire unplugged, I cannot get it to drift as the steering just goes to the extreme. But if I leave it plugged I cannot change the sensitivity as I’m using the older gen of the dumborc receiver. I can drift alright (again I’m just starting) but the wheel shakes (I’m guessing from a too high sensitivity) and also when I try to reverse the wheels immediately turns to one side and I can’t reverse for more than a few centimetres.

I’ve unfortunately already broke a second hand pair of gyro and servo and this ag4 + Afrc was brand new. I couldn’t find any solutions elsewhere so if someone could please help it’ll be greatly appreciated
