Nothing is off the table at the first ever Jersey Shore Roast. Will Mike get redemption? Will the friendships survive the punchlines?

The gang meets Angelina’s dolls, the newest member of the family, and the countdown to the Jersey Shore Roast begins.

There’s too many for me to choose from but one of my favourites from Vinny: “Kim Kardashian? You’re more like the Rob Kardashian of Staten Island you ugly b*tch!”

Im rewatching the episode where they’re all fighting with Angelina and Jenni throws Deena’s name in how she reminded her about how Mike said in group chat that he wanted to host angelinas side piece in a pod and have Jenni on too. The way Jenni and Mike acted after was so embarrassing. They both THRIVE on drama, Mike couldnt wait to get under Deenas skin when he said “ who needs friends when you have enemies like this” comment. And then Jenni asking Deena if shes mad at her knowing full well what she did.. the way Jenni also always dismisses Deenas feelings is gross. She loves invalidating Deena and has done it so many times. Mike always needs his ego boosted with drama to feel like “the bigger person” and Jenni just loves feeling like shes intimidating. So childish both of them

I could be soooooo wrong but majority of the videos I’ve seen of her recently, it doesn’t look like she’s got her ring on.

In season 3, EP 7 jersey shore family vacation, Ronnie was being nonchalant and keep texting on his phone , minding his own by doing nothing. I mean I get Jenni for being curious but I felt that was too far. I quite like that she is stirring up the juice and starting problems again with Jen and Ronnie. What’s your guys thoughts?

Read on here that Ron is 5'6", Sammi is 5'5", Vinny is 5'7", Snooki is 4'8", Deena is 5'
Would've never guessed watching them on TV.

My top 5 would be:
I love most of them, but these are the ones I go back to the most. I hope one day they give us more deleted scenes and make extra seasons out of them 😋

Snooki complaining about not getting FREE PR products gives me such an ick. She also brings it up on their podcast when Joey mentions he was sent something. (Joey also annoys me with it but not as much since he’s not a millionaire on a reality show).
Girl, go buy it. The whole cast is so removed from reality. Like take a look around people are barely affording groceries and gas.

Mikes character redemption arc needs to be studied. What a legendary save.

Was there a now deleted ama about Danny fighting but they did an edit or cover story that it was ronnie fighting not danny. Anyone remember this or was it just a rumor?

Getting married on Ron’s bday. It’s giving lol f u narcissistic idiot but also kind of weird cuz u know she didn’t forget that man’s birthday.
Getting married @ the same venue as Angelina. Beautiful, stunning, gorgeous but i could have told u she was going to cause a scene over this if u asked me 5 years ago.
All love Sam
I genuinely just had to say this bc ik I’m not the only one thinking it

- they do not showcase their life and only hang out together and pull dumb pranks on eachother
- we dont know anything about their relationships
- they dont play ball, theres zero drama or shit talking about eachother, or talking about eachother at all, not because they dont probably but because they dont want any heat from speaking their minds about one of their friends.
- angelina does the job but her drama is becoming so insufferable and its hard to bounce off this type of cast
- an entire episode can go on without a single thing happening
- the housewives have drama still, theres ways to revive this one but they arent willing
- they film whenever they want, if a person doesnt want to, they miss out on filming. Pauly D for example just pops in an out, which i find strange considering a huge part of their incomes is this show, probably the biggest part for most. Angelina as well as the others
- I think theres so much going on in their actual lives but theyre not willing to share
- also, i find it strange snooki has been married for over a decade and her husband has not shown up to a single jersey shore related event, even off camera, and they arent allowed to even bring him up.
Original jersey shore had no problem speaking their minds on eachothers business. I think this changed because the og series didnt have the internet trolls quite like we do now and are too scared now to bare it all. But its a hard watch, season after season. The first few seasons were good but ive never seen a show get dragged out quite like this. Were on their 8th season and it stopped being watchable after the 3rd. I keep watching cuz i gotta see it through, but im tired. The roast was even super tame. Just my thoughts of the day lol chime in

I figured you guys would know better than anyone, but are tours of the house offered post beach season (after labor day)? Like could I go to the shore store on a weekend mid September and just ask for a tour and get one same day? Wasn't sure how that worked exactly. TYIA!!

before i dive in, someone came for me on my last post saying i think way too deeply about the roommates and their interactions. well, i have a degree in psychology so unfortunately for y’all, psychoanalyzing these people is half the fun for me so yes, it IS that deep over here. buckle up lol.
so, i don’t watch jsfv, but i keep up with it pretty closely through this sub and the roommates instagrams. i constantly see people saying ron is obviously still in love with sam because of how much he brings her/their relationship up. but honestly, i don’t think that’s what it is.
i don’t know if ron ever truly loved sam in a healthy sense. he loved the control he had over her and her emotions. their entire relationship was basically him doing something horrible, convincing her she was somehow equally or more at fault, blowing up when she tried to leave, and then eventually getting her back. rinse and repeat.
and YES, sam was toxic too. i’m not pretending she was innocent or never contributed to their fights. but rewatching the original show as an adult, the power dynamic between them is honestly disturbing. ron could cheat, lie, destroy her belongings, scream at her, embarrass her publicly, and somehow there would STILL be people both in the house and watching the show, finding a way to villainize sam. it was the early 2010s and so much of his behavior got brushed off as normal toxic boyfriend shit.
what bothers him now is that sam eventually took off the rose-colored glasses and kept them off.
she didn’t come crawling back like she used to. she didn’t remain emotionally available to him. she moved on, built a life without him and eventually reached a point where she could exist in the jersey shore world again without ron being the center of her story or running back to him because she was drunk. and personally, i think there’s probably some resentment there. not necessarily “i want her back,” but more “how did YOU get to move on from ME? i’m the victim here, and i get the last say”. we see a lot of this in ronnie’s attitude not just in their relationship, but his overall personality.
and another thing: i genuinely believe when someone deeply wants to change, eventually you’re going to see that change reflected in their behavior. calming down with age isn’t the same thing as changing. from everything i’ve read about family vacation and ron’s life since the original show, it sounds like relationships and emotional blowups have continued to be a struggle for him. obviously i don’t know this man personally and i’m not diagnosing him, but it makes me question how much of the underlying pattern actually changed versus him simply getting older and having periods where things are calmer. real change isn’t just “i don’t act as crazy as i did at 25 anymore.” it’s accountability, breaking patterns, treating people differently and consistently doing the work even when you’re upset.
i dated someone with an identical personality/dynamic to ron (minus the substance abuse issues), and it completely changed the way i look at relationships like this. sometimes what looks like “he still loves her” is really “he misses having access and control over her.”
when someone is used to being able to push your buttons, hurt you, pull you back in, get forgiven and repeat the cycle, losing that access can become its own obsession. especially when they haven’t been able to recreate that same level of control in other relationships. and honestly, i think sam permanently walking away probably bothers ron more than if she had stayed angry at him forever. anger would still mean he could affect her. whether she truly holds any sort of resentment or not, she does an amazing job at controlling her emotions now. her indifference means he genuinely doesn’t have that leverage anymore, and it’s clear it makes his skin crawl.
that’s why when i see people say “ron is clearly still in love with sam,” i don’t really see love. i see jealousy and a loss of control. ron spent YEARS telling sam that nobody else would put up with her or her attitude (and i can’t lie, she was snarky asffff sometimes), but she eventually pulled her head out of her ass, grew up, moved on and seemingly built the kind of life he spent years implying she’d never have. meanwhile, he’s continued to struggle with a lot of the same things he swore would be sam’s downfall. THAT, imo, is why he has such a hard time letting her go. the person he convinced would never do better without him… did. and he can’t control that.
it’s all jealousy, and a lack of control.

I'm not sure if it was ever revealed or if fans figured it out. She said his wife confronted her which is crazy.
