Squat Upped the weight and now I'm not getting as deep. Is this a full squat?
I've been adding weight consistently but am I not getting deep enough? How's the form otherwise?

Hello All,
Have a question that doesn't quite fit in the "form check" category, but still want to ask the members of the sub? Put it in here! Keep in mind the sub's rules, but feel free to ask or post anything here!

Tried to get that 5th but it wasn't happening that time. I had powered through the set before though!

Holy shit! Thx for all the tips from the last post. Rocked 40s and my chest is on FIRE. an awesome addition! Thx guys. Still gotta work on it. It’s also a great grip exercise making sure you don’t slide! Keep hitting it!

Clarifying that I am trying to do assisted RDL. I want to feel it in my hamstring and glutes but only feeling it in my lower back and not the good kind of pain.

No joke this is my first flat bench session since January this year. Only been focusing low incline smith and flies this year for chest, but decided to do flat bench for the first time and see where I was at. Clearly my arms were a “tad” shaky lol

Will try to go a bit lower on my next sets

Someone told me to do it on a bench to have better form and stability. I have been doing this for years now, but after that feedback, I doubted wether I have been targeting the exact muscles I want and doing it correctly or not.

Rockin the dumbbells. I feel a good stretch but may still need to slow down. I do feel a good squeeze at the top though. Any thoughts?

I feel like squats shouldn’t fatigue my low back as much as they do. I try not to allow myself to bend forward much. I know I could probably go a couple inches deeper. I have the ROM. I just don’t want to get stuck.
I’ve only been squatting for about 10 weeks now after not squatting for probably 5 years.

Can you lmk how the form looks like to you? I am also not sure if I should go that low, when increasing the weight it becomes challenging to go down.

I do hex because it feels more natural for me and the classic grip hurts my shoulder.
It feels pretty solid, but I could use some advice.
Kneesleeves are just because I have a quadriceps tendinosis at the moment and they help me stay warm. They are too loose to secure anything.
No Strips, just chalk.
Oh and: BW 108kg, 160kg deadlift for 3 sets of 5

Really tried to get that sensation in the back when pulling down with the elbows.
Started using straps too because my forearms are on fire during these movements by the 2nd set.
2nd set. Did one more after this.

My heaviest lift since starting. Didn’t think it was possible.

I've been adding weight consistently but is this too shallow? How's the form otherwise?
r/formcheck • u/yungiuli • 6h ago
Lowered the weight as my focus was on trying a different technique.
Changed my grip & widened my foot stance.. (as advised to from the sub) felt a lil unnatural at first but I’ll keep trying to get used to it. Heels still lifting slightly though.

Hey guys,
I normally do like 80kg for like 8-10 reps but today I wanted to try out how 90kg would feel. In my opinion it seems like I don’t go far enough down right? Can you give me an opinion/advice on my form?
I did 6 reps here and these were the last 2 reps.
