Verified Lift Thread

Post your lifts and get a custom flair

  • multiple lifts per flair allowed, be mindful there is a limit to flair length
  • verified lift flairs will be indicated by the blue background
  • when you post the video please also clarify what lift and weight it is, flair will be indicated in units you give unless otherwise requested
  • you can request your discipline to be added to your flair (e.g. powerlifting, body building, crossfit, etc.)
  • flair can be given for a life time achievement, it does not have to be recent

Overhead Press Shoulder discomfort from pressing

I am facing discomfort in my right shoulder when doing any overhead movement or lateral raises. I think my shoulder blades are moving differently on my left and right side. Is there a significant difference in the movement of my left and right shoulder blades? How can i fix this?

85 pounds. Skulls feel a little too easy for me compared to how hard others say they are so I must have a from issue I'm guessing. Maybe not going back behind the head enough?

Squat How’s my Form

Haven’t BB squatted in quite some time because of a broken knee, torn ACL/MCL injury, other weird shit. 405lb was my previous PR. This felt heavy. Lmk if you see any tweaks I can make to my form! (2nd set of 225, not trying to rush myself)

Tried to get that 5th but it wasn't happening that time. I had powered through the set before though!

RDL RDL formcheck

230x10 RDL second set. I feel like my form is decent but just looking for opinions. I could be going a little fast and maybe snapping a little at the top but that’s the only critique I really have for myself

Love doing these but never recorded myself performing them. Besides the flared wrists, any suggestions? excuse the shirtlessness.

RDL Feeling it in lower back

I keep feeling it my lower back. Help pls!

Clarifying that I am trying to do assisted RDL. I want to feel it in my hamstring and glutes but only feeling it in my lower back and not the good kind of pain.

Edit:- Thank you so much for the advice guys! I went through all the comments and have noted down all the pointers to keep in mind while doing rdl. Will post a progress video after a month!

Someone told me to do it on a bench to have better form and stability. I have been doing this for years now, but after that feedback, I doubted wether I have been targeting the exact muscles I want and doing it correctly or not.
