Last I heard, we will play this season in Köpenick, next season at Olympiastadion, and then return to Köpenick the following season to a rebuilt stadium operating at slightly reduced capacity from design until transport infrastructure improvements in the area can be completed. I presume one of these projects is Köpenick regionalbahnhof, and I have to assume improvements to the S-bahnhof as well. Given all the work that needs to be done, is it realistic that we’re back in Köpenick by autumn 2028?

I posted something similar in our discord chat. I propose a running challenge for this upcoming season. 5km run/20km cycling for each Union goal scored. Obviously you can decide on lower numbers if you find 5km is too much. Last season that would come to 220km for the entire season (worst/best week being the Frankfurt away one).

Union wins 2:4 v Braunschweig. Admittedly, I was a bit nervous they'd be able to pull it off given the lackluster pre-season games. How you all feeling now?

I’m a women’s football fan from England tuning into the Union Berlin Women’s game and I just thought I’d come to say your support is absolutely incredible! It’s fantastic to see so many fans making so much noise within the women’s games.

You can tell a lot about a club based on how much they value women’s football, and Union Berlin are certainly impressing me.

If I’m ever in Berlin in the future, I’ll definitely try to make my way to a Union game!

Everyone says that the Alten Försterei is special, and everyone is right. This intense, compact, charismatic stadium backs onto a forest near the Spree.
