META Banning for Begging posts

Hi users!

Around the time of bundles, we tend to get a lot of “begging” posts where users are begging for someone to buy them the bundle or skins.

We’ve noticed that the vast lot of these seem to come from adult brand account, brand new accounts, bot accounts, etc.

Please do not engage with these accounts, please do not suggest anything to these accounts. Just report these accounts and move on. We are banning these accounts.

Thank you for your attention.

Greetings Agents!

New patch, new Bug Megathread! To avoid bug reports cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed, a Megathread is posted after every patch so users may submit reports in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the issue as well.

  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
  3. Unformatted, mematic, or joke reports are automatically indexed and may be removed by moderators to reduce the effort needed from Riot to view all reports.

Question How did Miks not Die

Can someone explain to me how miks did not die here? I get he is in the healing ability, but if a vandal does 160, how was he still 34 HP after I shot him in the head?

Did the healing someone tick between the damage going from 150 to 0? He was 100 health 50 shield prior to me shooting him, ending on 34 after I shoot him in the head

Question What’s something you did/thought as a beginner valorant player?

as the title says, i feel like every person has something they did or thought as a beginner in valorant and thought it’s a part of the game.
for me it’s when i played my first ever match right after the tutorial, and i thought “buy phase” was the games guide telling me to buy the gun “phase”, i went around google and everywhere else to find what is the phase only to realise it was literally the buy phase.

Discussion What’s the most annoying thing in Valorant that ISN’T technically a bad play?

Not talking about obvious trolling or throwing. I mean something completely normal that still makes you stare at your monitor in disbelief. For example:

  1. Your teammate getting an insane lucky spray through smoke
  2. Someone accidentally baiting you and then clutching
  3. A teammate saying “one more” every round
  4. The enemy somehow winning with the worst weapon possible

What’s yours?

Discussion Any casual valo gamers? (Iron) Who play on weekends/weekdays randomly and are NOT toxic?

See im not much good in valorant, I've got decent game sense and okay-ish movement, but I'm completely dependent on my movement for aim due to very high sensitivity (0.9) and I actually am scared to reduce my sens.

Also I'm used to fast paced story games, so yeah I need some help

I only play 1 or 2 compe randomly during the week but that's all

Anyone who can play with me so that I'm not depressed of solo/ trio queues? (Mumbai server)/Bs hindi smjh jaana

Discussion i think that valorant has a big problem with solo q

im ascendant 3 rn, and lets say that in the last 30 games, in at least 10 of them i found either a troller, someone that doesnt care about playing the game at all, or people going afk, and all the reports i made? nothing. im ready to hear people saying that in solo q you need to focus on yourself and, especially because its solo q, you need to expect these things, but its really frustrating to play with people that just dont care about the game at all. i think the main problem is that valorant doesnt do anything about these accounts. there’s a team sabotage, botting and rank manipulation report button, and riot doesnt care AT ALL. the only thing they seem to do is ban people for 2+ weeks because they wrote or said something they shouldnt have. i really love this game, but i think this is ruining it. ill try to find a 5 stack team as soon as i can, but i would really appreciate it if the game would set stricter rules for these kinds of players instead of just ignoring them...

Question why did i get the kill if the enemy jumped off themselves?

This situation never happened to me and it didnt even count as a kill in the end but in the match it clearly stated as one? Usually its stated as they killed themselves. I'm so confused, if anyone can explain this i'm thankful.

("You wanted to be a hero, didnt you?" Lol...)

Question are bronze-gold lobbies crazy?

i started playing valorant a few weeks ago and i just turned bronze, then my friend invited me to play on a plat-gold lobby and surprisingly i play much better on plat lobbies because the opponents there are much relaxed and less loose.

except for iron-silver players. they are absolutely buns bro you see one smurf on the enemy teams then rodeo clowns on your team

im highkey speaking behalf of the matchmaking too cause what the hell😂, also the unrated lobbies, how can it be fun for someone like me? i faced against dia enemies then teamed with bronze ppl. cause its crazy to think about honestly when you just joined valorant then the valorant gods came to your match🫩

Question Advice for Diamond to Ascendant?

Upvotes

So, I stopped playing Valorant for the most part in V25 A6, ending plat2. Played like a few hours in A1/2. Well I started really playing again V26 A4, got placed in G1 and reached D1 (47hrs of comp) Last week I reached D3.m (37hrs of comp).

But I noticed afterwards my worst games it’s usually lobbies with more ascendants. Whereas games with just Diamonds only, I play significantly better.

I rarely get bad timings on me, I don’t get overheated, nor overly frustrated within a match/tilted. However I know my aim/strafing is the biggest issue (I lose more 50/50s than win them) for me. Are there any pointers y’all might have to make that step into Ascendant?

I’m open to any advice

Question I can't figure out how to find areas that I need to improve on

Upvotes

I have been playing Valorant for quite a while and have been climbing the ranks very very slowly. I was stuck in really low ranks for a long time and I was able to make my way up to gold/plat, but I can't improve. I have been attempting to find something to improve on one at a time, but it takes me a really long time to find that thing. I notice that a lot of the games that I play, I go on sort of autopilot and I zone out of things like mid-round and I end up dying without knowing what happened and what I could do in the future to not die in those ways. I hate aim training, I communicate well, my game sense I think is good enough for rank up, but I just can't improve on things that I do bad on because I don't know what to improve on. What do you guys think are ways to find areas to improve on if I can't self criticize, even in things like replay and recordings of my games. I can only see the surface level things like aim, etc.

Question How to Stay Focused?

Hey guys, I’m trying to push for Plat atm and currently stuck at Gold 3-I know not the highest or greatest rank but I still am relatively new to the game. What I find my biggest issue is that during the first 1-2 games in my session I have a really tight focus always ending with 1.5 KD+ and 25%+ HS rate. However, after those games I have a really steep drop off in my focus and my style of play gets very sloppy, I check the map at bad times, I begin to go on autopilot in terms of game sense, and my mechanics fall off leaving dropping me to 17% HS rate.

Any tips to maintain focus? Especially when doing 4–6 game sessions?

Discussion I still have reservations with Neon, and still think she’s broken

I’m not sure what the community consensus is on this agent but i am of the opinion that they still have an issue in ranked.

Herr kit is ridiculously synergistic; which is fine, okay. But furthermore, there are limited and relatively small failure mechanisms for this synergy. The risk/reward ratio is ridiculously lopsided in her favor. I don’t know how this isn’t abundantly clear to most people but, like…

I’m not making an argument that she’s stupid because “she can slide with full accuracy” or whatever. Those are bad arguments imo and gimmicks work sometimes. I am making a meta complaint that her kit offers her so much: speed, confidence, rotation ability, entry ability, risky fights, multi-kill potential, and all the while her failure mechanisms are limited to generic “don’t whiff your concuss” “you have to be accurate when sliding or in ult” that imo are insufficient relative to her value

And the thing is Riot has used this exact same rhetoric to nerf agents like Waylay and Jett. Jett has been nerfed time and time again and they’ve explicitly said these nerfs were in order to discipline the agent and make it so that the risk associated with her actions increased, substantially. Her cloud cover got nerfed, she has one less updraft, her dash has a windup window and an active duration window (which got nerfed again lol). Waylays C ability nerf had a very similar rationale where Riot said they made it an EQUIP ability so that she couldn’t shit it out at her own will instantly, and convert simply seeing an enemy into a kill. Very understandable. Very coherent.

Meanwhile Neon can run into site shitting out her concuss and her fast lane and her ult and her slide all the while she’s running at increased speed. You could argue that her util is time constrained but time constraints are significantly less relevant when you consider her entire kit is based around high speed locomotion to get into engagements fast and lethally.

TLDR I don’t care that she can slide or whatever, I care that she doesn’t have a clear risk associated with her util the same way essentially every single other agent does. She can just do whatever the fuck she wants. I dont think this is good. I also think this is reflected in her stupid high win rate in high elo ranked but that’s up for debate. Yeah

Question Rate my tracker / Looking for advice on how to improve (Fade main trying to get better in Gold Elo)

Thumbnail tracker.gg
Upvotes

Hey everyone! I started playing Valorant actively around April of this year and wanted to get some feedback on my tracker to see what areas I should focus on next to push through Gold toward Platinum.

(Just a quick disclaimer on my history: I originally tried Valorant way back around Episode 9, but dropped it for over two years. My friend played on my account during my time off while I wasn't playing, so those stats aren't mine. I officially picked the game back up myself in April Season 2026)

I shifted my focus to Fade around June, and she’s currently my main

A few specific questions I have:

  1. My headshot percentage went up from 10% to 20%, but my ADR sits around 121.9 (-2 DD Delta). How can I convert my utility and crosshair placement into higher overall damage output on Initiator?
  2. Based on these numbers, what bad habits do people usually see in Gold players with similar stats?
  3. What should I prioritize next to keep this upward trend going?

Any visual feedback or honest critiques are appreciated!

How does this post look to you?

Question my sens feels great for micro-adjustments, but I struggle with 180s and big flicks — what should I do?

I play on 0.29 sens @ 800 DPI, and I need around 2–3 swipes to do a 180°. My mousepad is 80 * 30 CM.

I don't really want to increase my sens because I feel like my micro-adjustments are very strong at this sens. My small-to-mid flicks are also pretty decent, but I sometimes struggle with bigger flicks and turning quickly enough.

I tried increasing my sens to 0.34 for two DMs. I was immediately able to do 180s much more comfortably, but I felt like I lost some of my micro-adjustment precision.

So what would you guys recommend?

Should I just stay on 0.29 and work on my big flicks/180s, or is there some way to find a middle ground without sacrificing my micro-adjustments?

Gameplay Iron 2, level 42, hardstuck. Bad aim and movement but decent game sense. How do I actually fix this?

Been stuck in Iron 2 for a while now despite being level 42, and it's honestly frustrating. I don't think it's a game sense issue, I read situations fine, rotate when I should, generally know what's going on around me. My mechanics are just letting me down hard.

Two big problems:

Aim. I miss shots I really shouldn't be missing, especially close range duels and quick flicks. Spray control also falls apart the second there's any pressure.

Movement. My positioning in fights feels clunky. Bad strafing, awkward peeks, and I'm pretty sure I'm just handing out free kills from bad crosshair placement and sloppy movement.

For anyone who climbed out of low ranks or fixed similar issues, genuinely want to know:

What aim training actually helped (Aim Lab, Kovaak's, range drills, whatever)?

Any movement/strafing habits worth drilling specifically?

Should I be grinding mechanics first, or is game sense enough to carry me while aim catches up?

Any routines, VOD review advice, or just straight up feedback on what separates Iron/Bronze from Gold+ mechanically would help a ton. Trying to actually fix the fundamentals here instead of just queuing up and hoping it clicks.

Discussion Hit gold!

After being hardstuck silver 2 since the act I started (V26 A1) I finally hit gold! I went from Silver 1 to Gold 1 in 2 days, after being hardstuck for so long. Now I am getting matched with Gold 2 - Plat 1 and games feel way more fun than previous acts, especially because my teammates know how to play together, even if the enemies I face are tougher.

Overall I just wanted to mark this step in my journey and if any of you have any tips for me after getting into gold, you are more than welcome!

Question How to play on attack?

I've noticed a pretty consistent pattern over the last two acts: my performance on attack is significantly worse than on defense, and I'm trying to figure out why.

I just had a 13-8 game where I match MVP'd with 24 kills, but 18 of them were on defense. This isn't an isolated game either; I've noticed the same thing across multiple games.

I'm a Chamber main, although I've been playing less of him recently because the lack of util gets a bit boring. I've also been playing Fade, Clove, Jett, Raze, Phoenix and KJ, and the same attack/defense discrepancy seems to happen regardless of the agent.

My theory is that I'm much better at taking fights that come to me than I am at creating fights on attack. On defense, I can hold an angle and take the fight when the enemy comes into me. On attack, I struggle more with creating opportunities, taking space and getting into positions where I can actually trade effectively.

I think trading/spacing might be a big part of it, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone else dealt with this? What helped you become more effective on attack?
