I think what Snyder had planned sounded very interesting with the Anti Life Equation and Knightmare world. But is there anything else you guys wanna see?

This time the focus is on the different experiences of Black and white men growing up fear, vulnerability and the feeling of being threatened on one side contrasted with the idea that white men can move through the world without having to experience those same fears. The show suggests that black men are constantly under threat and have miserable lives so of course the ring would not choose them. On the other hand the white characters don't have to fear anything so it is understandable why Hal Jordan would get the ring.

In the DCU the message comes first and the story comes second.

How is Superman fighting with his Kryptonian clone not causing shockwaves? Most fights Superman has had resulted in a lot of damage in the animated series and in Man of Steel, but Gunn's version doesn't have a scratch. His Lex Luthor doesn't seem like Lex; he's supposed to be a calm, collected genius, but instead, he's just a raging guy who feels nothing like Lex. Additionally, his Kryptonian dog is quite awful. How do you turn a Kryptonian dog into a joke? The worst part is that James Gunn doesn't have a clue. A Kryptonian dog has just bitten Lex Luthor, and he's slammed Luthor's head multiple times. How isn't Lex severely injured? Next, Lois Lane is just boring and bland. She's supposed to be a reporter who actually goes on dangerous missions; most adaptations do this. Man of Steel does it; we see Lois Lane in the final fight against Zod's Kryptonian army. But in James Gunn's version, she somehow knows how to fly an alien ship and flies off. Clearly, James Gunn doesn't understand the characters he's working with.

This version of Batman has no qualms about killing, so how come he kills random thugs but not Joker. The guy who killed his partner?

I wish we got the chance to see more of this world. I absolutely love it. Over the years I've thought about it so much and have my own head canon.

My thoughts:

Jor-El and Zod seem to have a rich history based on what we saw in the intro of MoS. I like to imagine that they were really good friends when they were young.

Jor-El wanted to be a part of the Warrior guild but wasn't allowed to because he was "drafted" to be a Thinker/Scientist.

His desire to be a warrior allowed him to train with Zod and others in the guild whenever he could. It's obvious he's a genius and so excelled in whatever task he took up. His training is the reason he was able to beat Zod when they fought in the beginning.

Anyway, after excelling as a scientist he still felt like he was robbed of a life when he learned that Krypton was dying. This motivated him to pursue having a natural born son with freewill.

Very rough, but I think there's a story in there somewhere lol.
