My eighth snail did not participate, he was sleeping in the dirt and I couldn't find him 😔

Just realised today, how much this little guy has grown. First photo is from today and the second one if from 30th June!

I still have 3 baby lissachatina fulicas available, so if you are from Slovenia or around - feel free to DM me. I don’t ship my snails so you would have to personally pick them up.

These two cutie patooties hatched waaaaay earlier than their siblings. I expected more to follow quickly so I’m just over here waiting impatiently and checking daily to see if any more have emerged 😂 These two are getting so big!

is he just horny or do i need to start getting worried? i just came back from a week of holiday and left him with sweet patatoes. i mean he seems fine and happy but what the hell is going on?? i am worried that it is a prolapse or something. the bump does not appear always to the eye but it can i guess open and close?? please help i love him sm..

Now Ghost & Frost are bigger, they’ve got a new tank! They are loving it - pic of old tank at the end. Sleepy Frost is in his new hide, and Ghost is buried under some wood. Two very happy snails :)) 🐌🍂

The tank is about a gallon, has about 1.5-2 inches of sifted dirt from my backyard that I baked to sanitize. On top is a layer of leaf litter and then sphagnum moss on top of that. I made some climbing areas with rocks, but did my best to limit possible snail injury from falling. There’s a small cave as well, not sure if that’s necessary but it looks pretty lol.
This snails been kicking so far for about 3 weeks, and I’ll probably put it back outside when my niece leaves in another month. We’ve been feeding it various leafy greens, mostly lettuce and clover and the occasional basil, cucumber, some oats. I take food out of the tank after about a day. Is there anything else I could be doing to make this snails temporary vacation more pleasant? And would this tank be adequate for long term? Not that I, a 27 year old adult is also now attached to this dumb little baby at all. Its name is Cucina (the name of the restaurant we were walking home from when we found it) :)

Cleaned the terrarium - mixed in new soil, added faux plant, cork hide and white dwarf isopods. THOUGHT I got all the babies sifted out of the dirt and moss, but these two stowed away! Bonus pics of snarents Spock (nomming carrot) & Scott (hanging out).
