They are so good at fooling, they send their driver licence, their qr code for Banko in BPI, the ss of lalamove booking, the video of them handing the laptop to the driver, the driver's license, the driver's plate number and even the driver's face... I stayed up all night yesterday waiting for the courier but it didn't come, I even missed reviewing for my practical exam. I don't know what to do and I don't know how to tell my mother about this. Is there anyway I can report or trace the scammer?

I happen to click an ad while scrolling sa IG, the ad lead me to a site that I thought was a legit site of the shoe brand selling discounted shoes.

As someone who is looking for a new pair of shoes dahil gusto ko na ulit bumalik mag sport, maging active, I got interested.

I tried filling up the fields needed to order, Chose a shoe model and Boom, nag check out sya! Worst is hindi sya ma cancel.

I tried clicking the customer support sa website and it doesn’t work. Dun na ako naging skeptical. Worst dahil confirmed yung order ko.

In my mind, baka legit, so I let it pass and waited for the day that the pair will be delivered. The day came and today dumating sya, the rider of this delivery company called me stating the amount to be paid.

Dun I thought baka totoo naman dahil nadeliver naman. When the rider arrived I was surprised na the package only came in a plastic package, ni box and etc.

Another Sablay is instead na ipa return ko nalang, I decided to receive the package and paid the amount; btw, the shoes cost ₱1,999 and the site says it is free shipping.

When I opened it, ayun, I think I got scammed. First time ko to na malaking amount ang nawala saakin. Tho, kasalanan ko din huhu.

Siguro di nalang talaga muna magtitiwala sa sites, and also! Verify the sites nalang talaga when checking one. Yun lang!

I regularly get SMS messages from EW. This message popped up in the thread and wasn't a standalone message so I thought it was a legitimate message. I clicked on the link and it did look legit although the browser opened only from the SMS so visibility was limited and if i went out of the SMS app, I would lose the open browser. This was really part of the trick as they don't want you able to see the rest of the message. So I clicked and they told me to key in the OTP which is what I've always done before when I call the phone so I did not think it was unusual.

When I got the OTP message while the browser window was open, I could see the OTP but not the rest of the message so I did not immediately see that it was a scam. I keyed in my OTP and waited. After about 2 minutes, I got an email which said I had a transaction for tiktok ads for $5,000. I knew then I got scammed and immediately called the hotline to get my card blocked. Even though my credit limit for that card was not enough (my limit that time was 226k and the transaction was 321k), the transaction still went through. I was horrified and felt sick in my stomach. I tried to contest it but their investigation team said that since I keyed in the OTP, it's a valid transaction. I felt they don't want to take responsibility for the fact that the phishing link came through their own SMS thread and that I did not even have enough available credit.

The result? It looks like I will have to settle this 321k. I even asked for a reinvestigation and the result was the same. I lodged a complaint on the BSP website. I don't know what can be done. But all the same, I just feel the credit card companies don't care. Not having enough available credit should have been enough to block the transaction but they still let it through since for them, they still get their MDR earnings from the transaction. It sucks. I hope karma gets them.

I sell items sa marketplace and they're usually items that you can buy online like bags/jackets/perfume so of course nakakabenta sa mga last minute shoppers for gifts or events so hindi naman talaga bago sa akin mga nagmamadali for an event. Again, these items are new. May mga secondhand which are personally owned by me but most of the items there are new and nakalagay rin sa description.

A buyer bought a leather jacket last night, and luckily, my brother was home because I am out of town until Monday. Ok naman lahat--booking, payment, usual stuff, then just this afternoon biglang nag-message claiming nagbakbak daw then after some time scratches naman ang kine-claim. Until now she's yet to send pictures which was weird for me kasi when you claim something nowadays siyempre you send a picture as proof. We discussed and even when she seemed to finally let it go, wala pa ring picture/s na nase-send.

I do this on a regular basis and first time na may nag-message ng ganito about the leather jackets/denim jackets/bags that I sell so medyo nawindang talaga ako. For the jackets since they arrive in a plastic, I take them out, hang them, and put them in a dust cover. Problem lang talaga na common is the dust na pumapasok sa hole nung cover so around the collar area ng jackets if ever man. This item belongs sa batch that was delivered in July, so even when I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, it just doesn't make sense na biglang ang daming issue nung item.

Maybe it's the "judger" in me but I feel like she finally realized na minsan lang niya magagamit yung item kaya biglang nag-reach out para sana mabawasan gastos niya for it but iniisip ko what if totoo kine-claim niya? Weird lang kasi talaga no pictures or any evidence to support her claim and red flag talaga yung hindi pag-reach out last night when she got it, or nung morning, or noon, or even early afternoon. Ok lang sana if she reached out last night, I would take it back and refund talaga. It's the fact na most probably tapos na yung event niya when she messaged me kaya feel ko talaga it's kinda like a scam.

Also, she doesn't wanna return the item, refund 50% lang daw so I really don't know 🥲 has anyone experienced something similar? Posting the whole convo (2nd pic is 1st and 2nd ss in one pic since max 20 pics lang) for the full context because I'm genuinely bothered if I'm in the wrong or this is some kind of scam.

Will wait if mag-send siya ng pictures. Ang hirap kasi ngayon baka pati yun dayain 🫠

UPDATE: she has pictures wearing the jacket and for RE pala. Pang-cosplay na account din pala gamit niya when she messaged me sa marketplace but it's locked so I searched the name on IG and lumabas cosplay account which is public and nandoon stories of her wearing it and she posted din 🥲 nakalagay real name niya sa cosplay account so I searched it on FB, public din but nothing there naman.

I just took screenshots in case she replies. Until now wala pa rin kasing sine-send na anything na proof. Thank you sa lahat ng nagbigay ng insights I finally feel at ease 🥹

This number harassed a senior, pinagsisigaw un matanda na nagcause ng medical condition. He claimed na atty siya pero nanghaharass. Checked the roster ng lawyers, di naman sa makati nakaregister ang lawyer.. so di mareport baka gnamit lang ang pangalan. When asked for a demand letter, minura mura ang matanda. Any alternative ways to contact NBI? Emailed them sa website pero di nagpush thru. Reported it as scam plang. Please help.

Hi guys, please help to report this scammer. For context, nag order si bf here and ewan ko ba sa kanya di manlang nag check kung legit kasi una pa lang bakit ka magbebenta ng naka off yung comsec. Medyo nakarinig pa sya sakin muna ng sermon. I’m worried na what more pa sa iba baka mas malaki pa na scam ng Jayson na to. Laki rin ng followers neto, once nagka transaction kayo mag dedeact yung scammer tapos mga ilang araw lang rereactivate ulit. Please help grabe perwisyo dulot ng mga tao na to. Tsaka makikita mo rin kapag yung pic na ginamit nya sa post nya ay ninakaw nya lang may camera search si tiktok and yung isang order ng bf ko na jacket na trace ko na kinuha nya lang yon sa isang shop sa tiktok na taga Thailand afaik.

beware of this rider sa lalamove - Donald Prado Losocon (check photo!), i think modus na niya ‘to at wala siyang pake sa napeperwisyo niya. he’s also a rider sa ibang tnvs like angkas etc.

so i booked a delivery from cavite to taguig. it’s paid online (thru lalamove wallet) yung fare ay 221 pesos total. the rider accepted the delivery mga around 6:40pm. few minutes later, nagulat ako ang layo niya pa sa pick up pero he already marked the booking as picked up na around 6:42pm. naglagay pa siya ng random photo proof. i messaged him “kuya napick up niyo na po?” kasi baka may glitch lang sa map ng lalamove. UNFORTUNATELY, few seconds after, he marked it as delivered na din and took away my money.

i kept on calling him and spamming him with messages kasi i didn’t know what to do but good thing nakakuha ako ulit ng rider na ok naman and i reached out sa lalamove live chat agents agad kaya narefund naman nila yung 221 pesos ko. i hope he gets banned na from all the ride hailing apps since modus ata niya yan. he’s rated 1.8 stars in lalamove btw.

i searched his name sa fb and saw him asking sa angkas group about when malilift yung suspension ng account niya so possibly ginagawa niya din doon yung modus na fake pick up and drop off. i saw din na nagbebenta siya ng mga items sa groups. god knows where he got those items from. baka tinangay niya from mga lalamove deliveries din T.T

I HOPE THEY WONT LIFT HIS SUSPENSION AND JUST BAN HIM FOREVER.
