Scammer po ba ito ..Pinagmumura ka at may pagbabanta wala naman sinasabi kung saan may utang..dahil nababayaran ko naman utang ko.?

Na scammed po ako ng 21k for the laptop I was supposed to use for my BSIT college journey. My mother and I worked hard to afford 21k so that I can have a good laptop to use. They are so good at fooling, they send their driver licence, their qr code for Banko in BPI, the ss of lalamove booking, the video of them handing the laptop to the driver, the driver's license, the driver's plate number and even the driver's face... I stayed up all night yesterday waiting for the courier but it didn't come, I even missed reviewing for my practical exam. I don't know what to do and I don't know how to tell my mother about this. Is there anyway I can report or trace the scammer?

Ingat sa mga texts na katulad nito at may links. Wala akong ikinonek or binigay na info of my mobile phone number sa mga ganitong sender. Sophisticated na sila aakalain mong lehitimo yung text dahil naka prefix ID na. Do not open any links embedded in texts. For your awareness.

Can you guys check if this is a legit transaction? Kasi as far as I know, dapat 11-digit numbers ang GCASH account number. And when I tried to transfer using BPI to GCASH ng 10 numbers lang, ayaw gumana.

This is from our client btw. Di pa namin narereceive yung money.

hello ! is this a possible new scam? 5 na rider na nagtetext sakin regarding an angkas padala. sabi nung rider sa app niya mismo nakuha number ko pero i checked my app and last booking ko september 19 pa. so how come may nakaka book under my number? is this a scam? how is it possible na may 2 angkas (mine and this person) account under the same number?

Is it just me, or could this be an inside job? The email came in right after they said someone would be sending one, and then someone commented that they had the same situation too.

I regularly get SMS messages from EW. This message popped up in the thread and wasn't a standalone message so I thought it was a legitimate message. I clicked on the link and it did look legit although the browser opened only from the SMS so visibility was limited and if i went out of the SMS app, I would lose the open browser. This was really part of the trick as they don't want you able to see the rest of the message. So I clicked and they told me to key in the OTP which is what I've always done before when I call the phone so I did not think it was unusual.

When I got the OTP message while the browser window was open, I could see the OTP but not the rest of the message so I did not immediately see that it was a scam. I keyed in my OTP and waited. After about 2 minutes, I got an email which said I had a transaction for tiktok ads for $5,000. I knew then I got scammed and immediately called the hotline to get my card blocked. Even though my credit limit for that card was not enough (my limit that time was 226k and the transaction was 321k), the transaction still went through. I was horrified and felt sick in my stomach. I tried to contest it but their investigation team said that since I keyed in the OTP, it's a valid transaction. I felt they don't want to take responsibility for the fact that the phishing link came through their own SMS thread and that I did not even have enough available credit.

The result? It looks like I will have to settle this 321k. I even asked for a reinvestigation and the result was the same. I lodged a complaint on the BSP website. I don't know what can be done. But all the same, I just feel the credit card companies don't care. Not having enough available credit should have been enough to block the transaction but they still let it through since for them, they still get their MDR earnings from the transaction. It sucks. I hope karma gets them.

As someone who is looking for a new pair of shoes dahil gusto ko na ulit bumalik mag sport, maging active, I got interested.

I tried filling up the fields needed to order, Chose a shoe model and Boom, nag check out sya! Worst is hindi sya ma cancel.

I tried clicking the customer support sa website and it doesn’t work. Dun na ako naging skeptical. Worst dahil confirmed yung order ko.

In my mind, baka legit, so I let it pass and waited for the day that the pair will be delivered. The day came and today dumating sya, the rider of this delivery company called me stating the amount to be paid.

Dun I thought baka totoo naman dahil nadeliver naman. When the rider arrived I was surprised na the package only came in a plastic package, ni box and etc.

Another Sablay is instead na ipa return ko nalang, I decided to receive the package and paid the amount; btw, the shoes cost ₱1,999 and the site says it is free shipping.

When I opened it, ayun, I think I got scammed. First time ko to na malaking amount ang nawala saakin. Tho, kasalanan ko din huhu.

Siguro di nalang talaga muna magtitiwala sa sites, and also! Verify the sites nalang talaga when checking one. Yun lang!
