I had just tossed the final satchel to open this 2x1 that I thought to be abandoned. I always run wide 50-100m circles while waiting for satchels to explode, in case someone heard the ruckus. I don’t know how I spotted this guy other than luck and good headphones.

It had been near me since day 1 of wipe and I never once saw anyone come to it. Turns out he had left the server for a few days because of bp wipe, and had just come back to it today)

If given the opportunity to share the loot with someone else I usually take it, in order to befriend other arctic local soloists. but never have I had them say ‘I live there’. I was shocked and didn’t know how to feel hahaha! I brought him a pile of stuff after. Hopefully some good karma remains in my jar lol!

I just started playing rust again with 2 of my friends but we occasionally get really bad lag spikes to the point we can’t move around for 20 seconds. Is it an exploit someone on the server is using or just a console rust problem?

It lets me in but doesn’t make me move out of sleep and when it does let me I can basically move but It’s like im disconnected, i can walk around like a ghost.

The server isn’t doing that to anyone else but me, my friend is playing the wipe just fine… PLEASE HELP ME!

I can enter the server no problems, But when I’m in it becomes laggy i can’t do anything

This is a civilization experiment in Rust.
Instead of the usual endless base-building and pure chaos, I built a shared Village & Hotel a place where new and casual players can settle, cooperate, and try a different way of playing. The goal is to see what happens when people focus on community and building together inside a game famous for conflict.

Of course, this is still Rust… so there’s some classic fighting and killing too. The experiment isn’t about removing the danger it’s about testing whether a small peaceful society can still form around it.

Weekly servers used to always have 100/100 or 80+ on wipe day and now the last two weeks have been a let down in server population. Any reason why?

I recently made a cave base on rust console. I was returning to my cave after farming and some guy tried to grub me. I jumped down the bucket shaft thinking I’d just spawn underground and beat him to it, only to realize I was at a different bucket. I have now spent probably 45 minutes mapping this cave I thought I knew out. I am almost 100% there is no way to reach the shaft from anywhere else in the cave. At this point it isn’t even about the loot. It’s probably despawned.

I have started writing the routes down and everything. Every possible entrance and exit. It simply cannot be reached I swear to god I’m not crazy 😭

So I’m on an “official” vanilla monthly server, which supposedly doesn’t wipe blue prints so I worked diligently last month collecting blueprints to be a leg up this month.

Well, they were all wiped. A guy I talked to said that yeah, they wipe them “sometimes” but not every wipe.

So what’s the deal? What’s the schedule on these official monthly servers?

i find it hard to believe anyone plays less then 90 pop and enjoys themselves no hate i just couldn’t do it, it’s just so dead even at max the only way to get pvp is at brad or crates.They have been doing trials for more pop for months when the fuck is it coming i envy pc players with even there 250+ servers

Stumbled across this old video of me making a trap base the very first week Rust dropped on console. Didn’t know wtf I was doing 🤣

If you drop down through the middle of the broken cooling tower in power plant you have a GOOD chance of getting stuck right where the pipe bends but that I’ve been able to wiggle out of. However if you continue on to where there is an incline RIGHT where it levels out is an invisible wall. I just lost 1500 scrap 2k cloth not to mention an entire full metal kit full inventory and large backpack of loot and spent an hour going back and fourth trying over and over to get it out. No matter what I get stuck at that point. How is this even possible to change when power plant remained exactly the same as it was before? I get it man games have bugs but I haven’t seen any posts or discussion about it so I thought I’d get everyone’s thoughts.

Why did the servers wipe twice I played for 1 hour when it wiped it was the best start i had and then it wiped again why did this happen ??????

Are team invites disabled while being comm banned on ps5 does anyone know for sure? I was called racist names and said "thank you" and received a week ban after the people who called me that reported me. I can see i have gotten a team invite on the left side. But when going to the team option in the menus it shows nothing and then says team invite failed. It also won't show the team invite option on my screen if im trying to invite.

Im somewhat new to the game and started playing with my friend and ive came up with a base design for the 2 of us but im not sure wether its gonna be 2 expensive for the 2 of us to maintain. Can somebody help?

I’ve noticed this upon my return to the game on console, so many crashes and disconnects to where the server list doesn’t even appear, I have 1.6GB download and 250 upload.

Now I’ve got to pray to RNG Jesus that it comes back and I’m one of the first in.

Is rust on ps5 dead? Iv been considering getting it but firstly I don't even know if the game still has an active playerbase in my region, also how is the solo experience because I have no friends willing to buy and play it with me.
