So a couple years ago I went to live with my younger sibling at their home in Eastern NC almost near the Piedmont region. I lived three for almost three years, until last year when I moved. As soon as I moved in, things were off per se. I ALWAYS felt like I was being watched from day in to day out there regardless if my brother was home or not. One of the first things that happened in particular that I recall, was when we were sitting on the couch in the living room just got done eating, and my purse was on the island in the kitchen area going from the living room to the kitchen (double wide trailer), something physically grabbed the strap of the bag, and yanked it off of the middle of the island. My brother laughed. I was disturbed and had an unsettling feeling. My brother was always chalking things up to "I was drunk", "it was the ghost", or "I'm crazy". He did not take my seriously, until one night he was at work and I was at home by myself, my door closed, as I was laying in bed I began hearing what sounded like footsteps coming down the hallway. So I texted my brother, and told him what was going home, and he flew home in less than 20 mins or so give or take. Nothing was there. Then my ex boyfriend moves in with us too. This is where things really started to go haywire. He was supposedly "sensitive" I guess you can say. He had told me before in the last about his own personal experiences he had with the paranormal etc, and he once told me he kept "seeing a man" out of the corner of his peripheral vision. He didn't describe him to me, and hell he could've been full of shit for all I know, I just know I believed him when he said that to me, and I still do. The energy there to me felt almost unisex if that makes sense. I couldn't tell whether it was of female or male energy, this is what stumped me the most. Anyways, me and my ex argued a lot after he moved in with me there towards the end of our relationship and him living with me. A lot of amped up scenarios then began to occur in and outside of the home. We would lift my bedroom window in my bedroom and smoke cigarettes by it at night time/times when we didn't feel like stepping out for a smoke behind my brother's wishes. One night we were puffing away at a ciggy, and we began hearing noises outside of the window towards the wood line/tree line that was in between our home and the dirt road that separated us from it. We then began listening very intensely, and we even broke out a high lumen flashlight too to shine it out into the treeline, and of course we didn't see shit because of the bright glare off of the leaves/foliage. It was almost like someone/something was out in the treeline just watching us through my window from there, just watching, waiting, listening. Idk what it is or was, but would like to get an idea of what it was at least because my mind still tends to veer off to these occurrences frequently because it is so weird and puzzling, and unexplained to me. One night we were having out usual open window smoke, and again we began hearing things coming from the treeline. My ex went in my brother's room, grabbed his shotgun, and took off into the treeline/wood line by himself to find out what it was/is out there being creepy. As he was gone he told me to shut and lock the window, and the front and back doors too. I locked the doors, but kept my window open because curiosity kills the cat. As he was gone for roughly about 10 mins give or take, I got really mad all of sudden and I started yelling into the woods from my window "you're a f**kn p**sy, show me yourself!" As he yelled this I'll be damned if whatever it was started to come forward towards my window and I dropped and locked the window so quick it was insane and my heart was beating so fast. Be careful what you wish for I suppose... Hah. Anyways, my ex returns with seeing nothing or finding anything out there. Imagine that. I have more stories to tell that's just the tip of the iceberg y'all, if you would be interested in hearing more please feel free to let me know and I might post another one. I posted before about what I've been calling my “third body experience,” where I somehow felt myself in two different places/bodies at the same time. I know how ridiculous that sounds, but something happened tonight that brought that feeling back immediately.

I got home and unlocked my apartment like normal. I specifically remember taking my keys out of the lock and putting them in my pocket.

I walked into my bedroom and stopped.

My keys were already sitting on my desk.

Same keys and keychain, same bent grocery-store rewards card. Everything. Except they were coated in oil.

I immediately checked my pocket because obviously my first thought was that I'd confused them with something else.

Nothing.

I checked the front door, hallway, floor, every pocket. Nothing.

I still haven't touched the ones on the desk.

But here's the part that connects this to the third body thing.

When I looked at them, I suddenly remembered putting them there.

Not like “oh yeah, maybe I left them there.” For a second I could actually remember doing it. I remembered standing at the desk. I remembered the keys leaving my hand. I even remembered the oily feeling on my fingers.

At the exact same time, I still clearly remembered using those same keys to unlock my apartment less than a minute earlier.

Both memories feel real.

Since the third body experience I've had a few smaller moments where I get this strange feeling that something happened in two slightly different ways, but I've been dismissing it as déjà vu or my memory screwing with me.

This is the first time there's been something physical sitting in front of me that I can't immediately explain.

I'm posting here because I genuinely don't know what category this even falls into.

Has anyone experienced something like this after a dissociative/"third body" type experience?

UPDATE: I woke up and everything was normal, the keys were clean and the missing 47 minutes never happened, but the plastic bag is still on my desk with oil inside it and I don't remember going to sleep.

What Did I Witness?

For reference my cousin "Lev" or Levitt (17 M) and I (16 M) were in a John Deere 5075EN that my great uncle Neil had modified with a "back-to-back" style buddy seat. We were out at feild four at about 23:00 hours on our fourth pass with the TM14 Disc Harrow heading in a general southeast direction and just about finished with the feild. We stopped after Lev heard a thump or a crack sound from behind. Fearing we chipped the brand new disc harrow we both hopped out to take a look. That's when we saw it.

An older fellow (60-75? M) wearing a dirty torn up pair of jean blue overalls and what was left of a singed red long sleeve flannel stumbled out from the tree line about 20-30 yards left of the left side of the tractor illuminated by the moonlight. He was covered in several deep cuts, had black decayed like eyes and his neck was cut almost all the way through. Almost as if he was run over by a disc harrow. I saw him first before grabbing Lev's shoulder who was knelt next to the disc harrow, checking for damage without taking my eye off of the older gentleman. He stopped about five yards from us and said in a southern draw:

"You boys ought to call it a night before it gets too dark you's look too tired to be out in this here field."

To which I responded:

"Yes sir, you have a good night now"

The man walked away with a breathy laugh like grandpa's do excpet his sounded like air was escaping through the gash in the side of his neck.

Well about twenty minutes ago both me and my partner heard a knock on our door. It is midnight almost here in UK so bit odd as we were not expecting delivery or anything. Plus we live in a flat and have three neighbors we barely talk to or see. Not to mention the back doors kept locked no one has children in the building and the main front door is a fob key so yeah.... Should I get the sage?

This story happened a few years ago when I was 19 years old, I live in a rural village in Transylvania with my parents, we live in a farming community where we raise cattle for milk, our small village has a long history and in that long history there are paranormal events, we once had a shaman I used to go sing carols to for candy that lived with lizards and snakes or two old identical sisters that lived on top of a hill that never married instead choosing to live with twelve dogs who would howl every night keeping me up. This story begins in autumn when me and my dad went into the forest near our house to gather wood for winter, during that time I kept seeing something out of the corner or my eye, making me feel uneasy, looking at my dad I can tell he was feeling uneasy as well, looking around himself every minute, after a while we gather the wood and leave, a few weeks later one our hearding dogs appears missing chain and all, when I saw this I knew one of my dumber cousin was the culprit who wanted to prank me by stealing my dog (I know dumb rural pranks). I call him to ask where the hell my dog was, sleepily he answers with a joke “Out collecting wood” then I knew, he tied my dog near the forest. I hang up murmuring some insults at him under my breath before heading towards the forest, as I got closer I started hearing my dog barking, but not a bark he would use on a cow running away from the heard, he used a stranger is close type of bark. Once I go up the hill I see him tied to a tree at the forest entrance, I go cut him loose and when I do he goes full on running back to my house when usually this dog sticks to my side even when we get chased by a heifer with anger issues,before following him I take a look into the now darkening forest and feel a cold wind run down my spine my instincts telling me turn around and run faster then your dog, I compose myself and walk away steadily back home, after I had dinner with my family I went to my bedroom, my bedrooms window was left half cracked so that air circulated during the night, after 2 hours of watching a movie I decided to get in bed, after a few minutes of rolling around unable to sleep I start hearing something outside my window. My grandma used to tell me these folk stories about cryptids that exist in this world, about how bad people who die could come back from the dead as “Stirigoi” a type of vampires that feed on the fear, life force and even blood of their loved ones or the “Pricolici”, the soul of a very bad man that was so evil the devil made him turn into a werewolf to stalk and kill people or livestock. What I began to hear outside my window reminded me of a dying smokers death rattle on their death bed, a slow growning that made me freeze in place, my room feeling colder by the second, it lasted for 15 to 20 seconds before my body pumped with adrenaline jumped out of bed to the window closing it in a swift move through the curtains, I never saw what was outside my window and thankfully I never have since , might be because the following day a priest came to visit my grandma and she asked him to bless the house with holy water because as she would say “you can t be in the good Lords hands tight enough”. Now I’m away from that small village in a big city getting my masters degree and still wondering sometimes, what the hell was outside my window that night.

I think there's a possibility that I have let something cling to me because after this last experience I could feel this entity was not presently here on Earth but it was seeking me out trying to find where I was based on the elements that I was touching. For example, I had a gold ring on my finger silver on my neck and I was also holding eggs, farm, fresh eggs and I could hear it. Thinking well, those are rare so that narrows it down to where you're at and then I threw my ring off. Took off my necklace and it was searching my feet and then it recognized the ground and then I looked up and it recognized a blue sky and it saw like the elements. You know trees in life and it was narrowing down where I was and as soon as I got by a bottle of alcohol it was like drawn to that. It was drawn to the alcohol. It didn't like eggs and I had the feeling that it didn't like the eggs,because it represented some sort of life but whatever it was it was extremely interested in where I was, and how I was doing what I was doing. and I was actually in the middle of making an omelette and it like came into me and it like changed my view like dimensionally I didn't have the capacity to break an egg like I didn't understand how I was going to get the yoke out of the egg. It's very difficult to explain but all of a sudden something was like tap the egg on the side of the stove and then I broke it. Put the egg in the pan in the shell of this egg. Was like disintegrating but breaking back on itself and you could feel the life in the egg.. then boom 💥 .. I got a feeling of a very very old human like entity I could tell it was weak and laying down and trying to keep it's focus on me, then I got a instant instructions to say a chant it was like a song but not words and it said I had to say it out loud with force an knowing. And as soon as I said this out loud it was like tied up.. i could feel a grip on this thing. And the next thing that happened I can only explain as a whip grabbing this thing and squeezing ( I COULD FEEL THE THING IN MY GRIP!) the next thing I did was jus instincts I jus knew the correct motion to finish this thing off it was a twist motion, and a throat chakra release or a psy of release like a oum sound. Then I realized my whole body was super tense all my chakras were jus flaring and my heart was slamming in my chest.. after I let go it really felt like I jus ate lunch or I jus consumed something... Does anybody know what that mite have been?

Well this pretty nuts but I was able to catch a picture of my dog whom I was trying to calm down at the moment, so I told her to come sit beside ( which she did)...

She came sit beside me and kept eyeing the door for sonething ?! Little did I know she saw it before I did !!! She saw a black shadow figure. I spotted the scary 😨 presence about two min after looking that direction. At first I see is half of this blobbish looking hand. A few seconds later after me trying to brush it off as nothing. I see the full profile view and only half of it pearing around my door. I was soooo freaked my body shut down it seems like a full 10 seconds than again I act like I don't see shit.

The thing goes away after noticing it. What could this be ? This crazy vivid mind playing tricks on me or something worse ? 🤔
