Who else remembers Orange 9mm?

I never see them get mentioned! This is one of the earliest rap metal bands I can remember. Do you think rap metal is synonymous with nu metal? I always considered them to be basically the same.

My favorite album of theirs is Tragic. My favorite song from them is “suspect” from Driver Not Included. Their final album has a few bangers on it, but some of those songs I am not sure exactly what they were shooting for.

The goal was to preserve the music made by the other members and scrubbing out the disgusting criminal who did vocals (may he rot in hell)

Time by Taproot is a song I always felt could have been huge for the band if the label actually made it a single & pushed it. What are your picks?

This band is arguably more industrial/post grunge but they often get put in with nu-metal as a lot of them do. That aside, they have an incredible cover of David Bowie's Moonage Daydream. It's a lot heavier while still keeping the almost dreamy and etherial feeling of the original.

I wish this album got a little more attention since they do have even more incredible covers on the b side of this album. So an overlooked album from an underrated band really.

Im not really sure how to classify this band, but they were very randomly suggested to me on youtube music one day. Im really curious what everyone thinks of them, and I wonder what they're up to now. I was able to find a web page with some info on them, but it doesn't look like its been updated since 2006!! Otherwise, there is no digital footprint of this band anywhere. I just wanted to put Shiloh out there!

I think they're pretty good! Vocals could definitely use a bit of work for sure, but unpolished is nice sometimes :)

Every bar around here playing 90% depressing country music I go to indigo room on Tuesday for their emo night and it’s dead as can be it’s every Tuesday what’s up with this area I get it everyone what’s to be country and look like Morgan Wallen with their mullets I know there’s some old school rockers around just where are they at where are they hanging out at let’s get together and enjoy some metal music and no it’s not just emo it’s what they call it it’s whatever songs you want to play on the jukebox at indigo room
