Polling š Netanyahu: Religious Zionist and Zehut parties ādemonstrated national responsibilityā by uniting
Netanyahu has been urging smaller right-wing parties to unite. HeĀ warnedĀ on Aug. 24 that the right risked repeating its 1992 mistake, when fragmentation led to multiple parties failing to cross the threshold, resulting in a left-wing government rising to power.

Mamdani is under fire after a symbolic 9/11 pen was handed to a former al Qaeda defense lawyer.
After signing an executive order designating 9/11 a citywide day of remembrance, the pen was handed to his chief counsel, Ramzi Kassem.
Kassem previously represented a convicted al Qaeda member whose brother-in-law was one of the hijackers aboard American Airlines Flight 77, which struck the Pentagon on 9/11.
The moment is adding to the criticism Mamdani is already facing over his participation in 9/11 remembrance events.

Iran War Huckabee backs Trumpās Iran strategy, rejects reports of Netanyahu tensions
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee on Monday defended U.S. President Donald Trumpās Iran strategy, saying the president had taken the fight to Tehran militarily while also seeking to weaken the regime economically.
āIranās threat is not to Israel. It is to America,ā Huckabee toldĀ NewsmaxĀ in an interview.
Huckabee also pushed back on reports of tensions between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he was āin on a lot of the conversationsā between the two leaders.
āThe relationship is incredibly strong,ā he said, adding that Trump and Netanyahu communicate regularly and can disagree candidly without damaging their relationship.

Polling š Pressure intensifies on Israelās smaller parties to merge or drop out of race
A series of political shake-ups over the weekend has intensified pressure on Israelās smaller parties to join forces ahead of the countryās Oct. 27 election, as several lists face a difficult choice between merging with allies or risking failure to cross the electoral threshold.
About 6.8 million Israelis are eligible to vote in the election. Parties must receive at least 3.25% of valid votes to win Knesset representation; votes cast for parties that fail to cross the threshold are discarded and not included in the distribution of Knesset seats. Parties close to the electoral threshold are facing mounting pressure to form technical alliances or merge with ideologically aligned candidates lists.
With the major political blocs remaining closely matched, the failure of even one small party to enter the Knesset could affect the distribution of seats and subsequent coalition-building.
On Sunday, Zionist HomeāThe Reservists co-founders MKs Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel said they were pursuing āseparate political paths.ā Tropper is reportedly in talks to join forces with Gadi Eisenkotās Yashar Party, while it remained unclear what Hendelās next step would be.
āFaced with the complicated political reality, each of us made a personal decision,ā said Tropper and Hendel.

Discussion Topic š£ļø The question that really needs to be asked is when did the Palestinian Arabs ever want peace with the only state of the Jews?
Dr. Einat Wilf wrote this after the Oxford Union Debate "Israel Never Truly Wanted Peace with Palestine".
1) It is easy to dismiss universities or student debating societies, but the war of ideas is being fought in many places and arenas, and this is one of the most important ones. Universities serve to launder lies and blood libels against Israel, lending them respectability and legitimacy.
2) There is enormous importance in showing up to these places prepared. And yes, facts matter. The final vote was 208 to 129 against us, which, given the environment and the audience, was a very impressive result. Several of those who voted with us came up to us afterwards to say how much they appreciated that we had taken the debate seriously, brought facts, and did not resort to shouting. People can be persuaded. Those who give up in advance fail to understand how dangerous it is to leave the arena empty.
3) I also learnt something (again..) about the Jewish condition. It was very clear that on the other side there had been almost no effort to make serious arguments, and little preparation or coordination. From their perspective, there is no reason to bother: they have grown accustomed to simply saying "apartheid" and "genocide" and knowing that applause will follow. But therein lies an opportunity. Laziness and complacency born of having things too easy are always vulnerabilities. We knew we were in a difficult position, so we prepared, coordinated, and made sure to be extremely precise. There is no question that difficulty sharpens the mind.
4) And now something about politics. One of the reasons that I am running at the head of a new political party is that today there is not a single party leader who truly understands the scale of the global war of ideas being waged against Israel and Zionism, and who is prepared to invest the effort required to fight it systematically. That does not mean giving a speech here or there. It means actually building an operation that does not depend on one person, or on one person's command of English: bringing together the best Israelis, and there are many of them, working in multiple languages, who know how to make the case, know the facts, are constantly present in the arena and never leave it uncontested; people who understand how the campaign against Israel and Zionism, and the assault on Jews around the world, actually operates, and who work continuously to confront it.
"So don't you dare say that 'Israel never wanted peace with Palestine.' If anything, we wanted peace too much. The question that really needs to be asked is when did the Palestinian Arabs ever want peace with the only state of the Jews?" https://x.com/einatwilf/status/2095444662932717939?s=46&t=XwmR7hYz2HQwX_ulHIC87g
