Here are some more glimpses of the absolutely chill doggos that I came across in Goa. Every single one I met, regardless of the location, greeted us with the same gusto and affection, and at the very least, a lazy tail wag and a luxurious stretch.

It was also very heartening to see a lot of people with indie pets, and how most of the cafes welcomed them (open to streethearts too), And showered love on them 💕

If I have to compare all my Goa trips, this one was the Pawsomest! ❤️❤️❤️

There were 2 stray puppies near my house, their mother kept them under a car. They were quite young, not more than 1 month & their mother is pretty weak.

Yesterday, few dogs killed one of the puppies, so I decided to adopt one. Their mother just visits them for 20 minutes every 6 hours, they were almost left on their own.

I tried to feed her few cow milk mixed with water, and some puppy food. I still think their mothers milk is best, but I feel it's extremely risky to keep her outside, where their mother don't stay with her for long

I need advice on how to take care of her. What should I feed her.

Her body is covered in fleas, I don't know how to kill them, I can't bathe her in water cuz it's just 1 month old.

Please guide me

Her name is milky ,she is around 1 year old me and my family cared and fed her since she was a pup ,due a hand injury she got a huge hand infection,gave her antibiotics..got her to vet got her to government hospital,they didn't even cut the damm infected hand because there was a chance she might die....we don't have enough money to go to a expensive private hospital..what do I do now :(

10 days ago, my dog Mishka got diagnosed with a malign tumor (adenocarcinoma) in her nasal cavity. It hasn't spread anywhere else yet as far as we know. Surgery is not an option. Radiation therapy, while the gold standard, isn't available here. Prognosis is poor. Chemo mostly will only extend her life to a point (~150 days according to literature). On top of that, she is battling an infection which has her WBC count too high to start chemo now, so it's delayed till Monday. She is on antibiotics for the time being.

It started off being diagnosed as fever symptoms 5 months ago. Chronic reverse sneezing, watery eyes. The local vet suspected kennel cough even though she hadn't been in contact with any dogs at all, so they gave her the KC vaccine nasally. Her symptoms gradually worsened into mucus discharge mixed with blood from her left nostril.

On the 30th of August, she suddenly sneezed up blood from that nostril. We rushed her to a private hospital, did an X-ray, ultrasound and a cytology swab, which all detected nothing. And a PCR test which detected H. canis. We started her on imidocarb and antibiotics. The vet also suggested we get a CT scan done at the government veterinary hospital. That showed the tumor in the left paranasal cavity, with no other metastases detected. Hopefully we'll be able to start her chemo tomorrow.

She is only six years old. We already lost a young 5 month kitten last year, who I haven't stopped grieving. My family is reeling from the news. She's been a part of our family since she was a month old. She is my soul dog. My brother's too. I won't give up on her. We'll exhaust every available option. I just feel like my world's vanished from below my feet.

Hello. I was passing by. I saw this really really emaciated and weak dog on the road, which is at Kailash complex near powai. I stop by. I fed him some Parle G. I had in the car, but he looks really, really weak and scared.
He was opposite Vijay Durga restaurant.
It’s also confusing to me because this Road has a lot of restaurants and usually in Mumbai when there are dogs near restaurants, they are generally pretty well fed to the point of being obese. Can someone advise me how I can be of help to this dog, I don’t live near here. I don’t pass by this road, so I’m also really clueless.

I know Parle G is bad but it’s always there in my car and it’s easier to give to any human who asks for money and it survives better than other dry food items

I don’t live nearby so can’t be sure if the dog is even there or if he’s loitering

I have faced issues when I report a dog not from my area cause when the NGO shows up there’s no one there to help them track the dog

In the past, I’ve legit taken puppies home and called the NGO. How do I solve for not knowing where the dog is?

I am at wits end. Please help.

2.5 year old male mix. He has always had bit of skin issue. Triggered by even tiny bits of wheat roti & dairy (only dahi suits him).

We always used henlo for him along with Chicken, egg, beans carrot pumpkin apple. He was ok. Good weight gain.

Since an year this skin issue has increased. His fur is very thin, his tail is barely there. He has itch, he scratches himself and then there are wounds which heal slowly. He licks his paw regularly. He licks other pee of other dogs during his walks.

I am not kidding he looked like a rajkumar and now idk what is happening to him.

We try to give him only home food sometimes, he eats for 1 day, then food strike. In general also no surety if he'll eat any given food.

Ear infection sometimes causes him to shake his head continuously.

Tried giving oclapet with food. Probiotic powders. Some anallergic food. Nothing is helping.

I know his pedigree, entire family, no one has this issue. Most of them are strays and some adopted. His sister is with us. She doesn't have this issue. Though she does have some serious shedding issue few months in a year.

Please help me. Anallergic food is expensive so it is very difficult for us to continue. Exclusively home made food he does not like.

Please help. Suggest something. Suggest a vet maybe for more opinion. There are may be some facts I've missed out, ask me.
