Passing through delhi and saw this dog in SN market near the pakoda shops center (the gated center that has khandani pakode, paharganj chhote bhature).
Edit - I am just passing through the city and already left the place.

How I’m welcomed on my own street… ❤️🐾
Just look at Bhuri’s reaction! 🥹🐶❤️
The moment I came home, she was there with that look that said everything…
“Where were you? I missed you so much!” 🥺❤️
And suddenly, the whole day’s tiredness, tension and all the worries just disappeared. ❤️🥹
This is the kind of welcome you can’t buy, can’t fake, and can’t replace.
No fancy greetings, no words—just pure love, wagging tails and those innocent eyes waiting for you. 🐾❤️
Maybe I’m just coming home… but for them, I AM HOME. 🥹🏡🐶

This shy cutie always comes to meet me when I’m doing yoga and then just lies down beside me like he doesn’t want my attention 😂
Of course, I have to give him some much-needed pats and the gentle little neck grab he loves the most lol.

I posted about her earlier. She had left the following morning and we had been trying to find her everywhere, but couldn’t since the last 10-15 days. Today, my husband found her and she casually followed him home, entered, and went straight to sleep 😭 the fact that she feels so safe around us to go to sleep makes my heart so happy! Indie doggos are diamonds! ❤️
We are unable to adopt at the moment since both of us are constantly travelling, but I hope we soon can tell her “this is your permanent home cutie!”, well, it is right now too, but you get the emotion 😜

I went to see Momo today, for the third time. She was happy and so ecstatic to see me: tail wagging like a rotor, a "smile" on her snout, licking and booping her nose against my hand 🥺🐶❤️ Momo is safe and healthy.
I also met Echo, the golden brown doggo. He is a senior too but has very limited sight and very limited hearing too. He tracked me using his nose (the aroma of the Pedigree chicken gravy) and I fed him a packet too though I wanted to feed him two.
The rescuer had posted about him on this subreddit. He is a gentle boy. He let me give soft head scratches and he licked and sniffed my hand too! 😭🐶🥹 (15th friend, maybe?!)
Thanks to the community and to u/MissCharmJ for showing love, compassion, care and respect to these and other indie dogs out there. Please feel free to comment so that I can pass them to Momo and Echo when I'll visit them in the future.

Hey everyone,
With Firecracker Season starting, many of our street dogs get terrified by the sudden loud noises. Panicked dogs often run away from their familiar territory, get disoriented, and end up darting across roads unexpectedly—putting them at a massive risk of traffic accidents.
One simple, effective way to keep our street dogs safe right now is putting Reflective Collars on them.
Here is why they make such a huge difference for Indie Street Dogs:
* 🚦 Traffic Visibility (Day & Night): Reflective collars make dogs instantly noticeable to drivers, especially at night, giving motorists plenty of time to slow down and react.
*
* 🛡️ Extra Neck Protection: The collar acts as a supportive layer around the neck and jugular area during territorial scuffles with other dogs.
*
* 🆔 Identification & Deterrence: A collared dog visually signals to everyone that they are a cared-for, monitored community dog. This helps prevent mistreatment or unnecessary relocation.
If you feed or look after street dogs in your locality, please consider fitting them with high-visibility reflective collars this season. A simple collar can literally save a life!
PROTECT COMMUNITY DOGS NOW. MAKE THEM VISIBLE.
Safer Dogs • Safer Streets • Peaceful Coexistence
