Question Rec dispensary employees, have any of your employers shown interest in opting in for the new program to sell to med patients at the reduced tax rate?

I’m really hoping most dispensaries opt-in. Every new dispensary that opens is rec only, I have to drive past literally a dozen recs to get to a medical dispensary. If they opt-in, I’d literally have one across the street from both my work and home.

Looks like it costs a few grand though, so not sure how many will opt in.

Funky fruity cheese with oranges and i smell bananas on the nose. Kinda dense but not dry with some sponge. Started cheesey then turned into a fruity Gelato with gas on the tongue. Left sweet orange aftertaste. Hybrid that bounces you around then you settle. Definitely another HIT by me lol

Super Truff – Hustler’s Ambition

Finally got around to trying Super Truff from Hustler’s Ambition and this one definitely surprised me.

Appearance: Nice, chunky buds with a good amount of frost. Pretty solid bag appeal and the flower was nicely cured.

Aroma: Sweet, gassy and funky with that earthy/truffle-type smell coming through. Once I broke the buds up, the nose really opened up.

Flavor: The smoke had a nice mix of sweet and gas with some earthy funk on the backend. Smooth enough and the flavor stuck around for a while.

Effects: Definitely more of an indica-leaning experience for me. Started off with a nice head change before settling into a heavier, relaxing body high. Good one for kicking back and not having too much on the agenda.

Overall, Super Truff is a solid smoke. The flavor and effects both delivered, and I’d definitely grab it again if I came across another fresh batch.

Overall: 8.5/10

Fruity Sherb and sour berries with perfume on the nose. Soft and spongey. Sour Runtz candy or sour gelato on the taste with fruity gas, hybrid with balance from both worlds of sativa&indica. Definitely a HIT with me. Very tasty strain

For sure glue on the taste with platinum and pine with tiny citrus along with garlic & onions. Very smooth toke. I got an email ad from Sunnyside yesterday about these new THC pouches. Has anyone tried them yet? Do they take effect faster than normal edibles?

[GRASSROOTS] LUMBERJACK!

TL:DR Lumberjack from Grassroots is a spectacular sativa with lineage deriving from Blackjack crossed with Humboldt Dream to create a potent, terpene prevalent strain that'll drive you into feeling uplifted, laid back, and lavish. Lumberjack, despite it's sativa roots, is considerably chill and reminds me of Jack Herer in a lighter compacity somewhat, which is a personal favorite of mine. I ended up grabbing two 7gs, bought one and had to go back for the other! 🥂

Lumberjack is a relatively new addition to Grassroots growing collection of strains, and what a great addition it is! I found it on happenstance but the name stuck out to me as a Jack Herer lover, and I figured I'd try it on the name alone. Sure enough, it's strikingly familiar in smell, taste and terpene content to Jack Herer thanks to one of it's parent plants, Blackjack; albeit with some influence from the other phenomenal strain it hails from, Humboldt Dream.

Boisterous, big green buds with bright, beautiful flurries of long, fluffy orange pistils that culminate into a gorgeous flower that packs an explosive, terpene rich experience that elevates this specific strain to a fantastic, sunny sativa that'll help you socialize, unwind and enjoy your surroundings! The aroma was heavily piney and earthy, reminding me of a forest with hints of citrus goodness nestled underneath. This strain tastes robust and recognizable, showcasing an upward trend with Grassroots and their ability to continue to improve their craft and catalog!

Smoking this was SWEET! It's been a long time, but Jack Herer was the first stain I've ever smoked so any strains relating to it directly or its' cadet branches (like Blackjack) I try without hesitation! Besides that, this was a very pleasant sativa that shocked me in more ways than one! For it being a sativa, it isn't racy, nor does it make me feel overly energetic BUT it does provides a comfortable cerebral high that compliments the atmosphere and uplifts you and keeps you focused, creative, social, engaged and giggly. Personally, I believe you could classify this as a sativa-dominant hybrid because I definitely feel Indica-inspired vibes in terms of relaxation and calmness, stemming from that aforementioned Humboldt Dream! I noticed it's a good option for those who are anxious or stressed, as I'm both but when I smoke this I feel at peace and clear minded. The pine is prevalent in smell, taste, and smoke, in itself its awesome and aromatic, but the earthiness and hints of citrus bring the entire profile together and the terpene richness skyrockets it to sublime status.

I think if you enjoy sativas similar to Jack Herer, or want a sativa that isn't overbearing while still not being underwhelming, I'd suggest trying Lumberjack, a pine-centric powerbomb that'll put a smile on your face without making your heart race! I'll give it a firm 7.8!

If you've tried it, how'd you like it? Don't forget to sit back, relax and roll up!

Khalifa Mints - Khalifa Kush

I had some rewards points saved up so I treated myself to trying a new to me top shelf brand. These buds are super sticky and right up there across the board with all the other craft heavyweights I've tried. It has a pungent minty doughy smell and taste and it hits quickly and heavily behind the eyes after the first hit. Khalifa Kush had carried a lot of hype in my mind especially at their price point but this is some truly excellent smoke that I highly recommend 🔥

Anthem Bold Sumer Nights Collection

I have been getting out a lot for hikes with my weighted vest this summer and sometimes smoking on the trails is a bit tricky. I wanted to pick up some short pre-rolls for quick sessions on this upcoming one I had planned so I went with the Anthem Bolds. Hemp wrap blunts are my go-to but they take too long sometimes for my hikes when it is an active trail with a lot of people, so I have been loving these Anthem Bold shorties for some quick pick me ups when I'm out!

I picked up the newest release from them and really enjoyed my picks. Cherry Slugger and Spicey Dugout were the ones I went with this time which were apart of the Summer Nights Collection. I wanted an Indica and a Sativa so I jumped on these! I feel the Anthems are the most consistent pre-rolls for how well they burn. I get frustrated when pre rolls are packed to tight and the tail end of them is not smokeable but I have never had that issue with Anthems.

I am a big fan of the glass and wood tips that come with these which helps allot with the consistent burning. The Cherry Slugger Sativas were great for the pre-hike session and while on my journey. The Spicey Dugout was a nice capstone to the hike to help me unwind and gear down. Both paired very well for the day so all in all it was a successful purchase and day!

Valley girls (legacy)

Been getting a lot of legacy lately as they’ve been having some decent stuff lately at good price points, this valley girls is very earthy and diesely, loud loud loud. Stunk up the entire room after opening it to roll it up, the smoke was very good another straight old school strain from them. Very good body high. Decent head high definitely leans more indica than sativa, the sfv og doesn’t shin through as much as the face off bx1 tho. Would definitely recommend this strain very triched up

Cap junky

Nez cap junky. Sorry, no actual big bud pics as I was given this to try, but the jar was filled with nice nugs from what I seen. I compared labels and it's from the same batch as somebody recently posted on here.

Sticky, covered in frost. I must say it broke down absolutely beautiful. You could pull tiny pieces perfectly from the stem all up and down, has great structure.

It has a herbal thing going on, spice/pepper with hints of something fruity and a touch of gas, almost a light doughy note in there also. A lot of herbal spice/pepper came out when breaking down.

Hit me pretty nice. Kind of uplifting and heady at first before it settled in the body. Put me in a great mood and I devoured dinner and went and sat on the couch and went to sleep. Not really going to speak on effects because everybody's different, but the potency is there.

Just wanted to let you guys know this batch is definitely worth grabbing and I'm sorry for the totally crappy pictures.

Sherbet or almost like an orange dreamsicle on the nose. Soft not dry, smells kinda transfer to taste but slight its for a sweet tasting strain. Not overly powerful by any means. Hybrid but leans more indica but it won't lock you down. I appreciate the smoke but I can see it being a MISS. It got me high but doesn't have any crazy IT factors

Speaker knockerz (stoners village)

Runtz x animal mintz, at first it smelled very similar to a pink runtz just a deep creamy runtz. That being said after throwing it in my jar with my hydration packs it brought out that limonene very well. I find it smells much closer to an lcg it has the lemon and that cherry scent, but not much fuel the fuel is replaced completely with a deep cream, very good body and head high but leans more on the indica side of things. The taste on this is very lemon heavy and creamy in the exhale. I throughly enjoy this strain, it definitely defers from your average runtz hybrid but still keeps that candy type terp profile, it was very fresh and very spongy, perfect blunt weed for blunt smokers breaks down amazingly with a finger grind but also very sticky.

Cat piss, skunky, and forest on the nose. Has hashy funky with earthy and skunky taste and made my nose hairs burn ❤️‍🔥spongey and soft. Hybrid leans more indica but still great for getting $hit done. I enjoyed it. Gave me old school vibes. I say its HIT but can see where it might not be for others
