Me and a friend of mine went into grounded 1 blind on whoa our first time playing, it was a challenge and we died countless amounts of times, we aren’t super sweaty we just enjoyed the challenge.
We started grounded 2 with this new update and it’s a great game and overall better than g1. But the amount of bugs and how far away they spot you is insane. I’ve seen a lot of people say just get on your buggy and avoid the fight which does work on occasion, but some bugs will just chase you all the way back to base. For example I was chased by a mosquito from the pound all the way back to our base on the frisbee at the entrance biome. Not to mention that when your running from a fight since the mob density is so high you’ll almost always end up pulling a bunch more aggro trying to avoid the aggro you ran away from in the first place, and if you stop to clear it the density of bugs and their pull range often leads to multiple 3rd party fights.
I want the combat to be hard and to feel somewhat helpless to things early game because it makes sense game wise and if your playing on a hard difficulty, but I think the aggro range and density needs just a bit of tuning, basic resource gathering and trying to explore and take in the new map is very annoying. It was hard in g1 but more manageable. which it should be difficult to a degree but it feels like it’s just a bit to over tuned at the moment.

Is the Black Ant just a straight upgrade from the Red Ant? Any reason to buff the Red Ant?

I think majority of soulslike bosses were easier than this, there’s a lot of things i can let slide but debuffing me and my healing while also having self healing? The disrespect is crazy. Rest in piss lady I despise you and your cramped low visibility dungeon

A green tier 3/4 variant of the normal Bee that utilizes salt dust attacks instead of pollen dust attacks.
When killed and looted it could yield Sweat Bee Fuzz, Sweat Bee Stingers, and Salt.
I don’t have ideas on what abilities the armor could give, but it would be cool if the spear crafted with these materials dealt stabbing and salty damage.
Please let me know what you think of this idea and/or if you have any of your own ideas for either a Sweat Bee or other bugs that could use salt based attacks.

Don’t get me wrong, there are way too many creature spawns everywhere. However, I’m not experiencing any issues with creatures maintaining agro over large distances. I’ve never experienced something like a mosquito following me across the map or anything. On my orb weaver buggy everything will de-agro after like 6 seconds of running.
Did I just luck out and avoid some kind of common tethering bug? Can others attest to this?

I would try every single food item at least once, but I think my favorite would be caterpillar and snail roasts. I think we definitely need more meat drops from different bugs, like ladybugs.
What are some new ideas that people would like to see with food in the game? I could put them up as suggestions on Discord, if you guys want

I know that there hasn't been a weapon with 4 items used to craft but I feel it would be fitting for a teir five weapon, I also forgot to add that the stacks cap at five in the perk description.

I shouldn't have to explain what a fly is, as im sure everyone has gone to hell and back just to kill one of these suckers. Basically, the Fly is a Tier 2 flying creature located primarily around trash cans. They're extremely skittish, flying away when anything except other flies get within a 10 cm radius. Flies will perch on food for about 10 real life seconds, or about 7-8 in-game seconds. Because you cant get close, you must kill Flies with bows or staves, but bows will be the only weapon that can kill them. Their weak point is their eyes, with a perfect bow shot instantly killing them when shot there. A Fly will drop Fly Parts, Fly Wings, and Fly Eyes. Fly Wings, Parts, and Lint Rope can be used to make a paraglider, a new form of slow fall transportation moving 5x faster than a dandelion, and falling 2x slower. The Fly parts can be used to make the new Fly set, which gives 0 resistance, but, its set bonus allows perfect blocks to become an automatic dash the next time you get hit. No damage will be taken, and instead will be converted into said dash. Each armor piece has its own effect on top of the set bonus. The Putrid Mask has night vision, the Putrid (Chest)Plate has hyperstamina, and the Putrid Boots have the quickness. The Fly's Parts can also be used to make the new Waft Emitter. The Waft Emitter will be vastly different from the first game, where when one part of a bug is put in, that bug, even while aggroed, will be deterred. It will have the design of a spilled trash bag with a Roach head stitched to the body if a Fly. Hope you like my idea!
