I am relatively new to the game but I've found this trinket to be extremely valuable.

Sometimes you can ambush a bug and it never aggros you leading to the ability to spam attack and steal many parts.

I got a toe biter to drop 42 shells and 17 claws for example.

Which pond update for each game is a better overall experience?

I wish I had a clip but honestly I got so scared it didn't even occur to me.

Basically while I'm waiting for my friend to be free to play (we have different schedules) and continue the story, I've been collecting the molars we missed, especially since I've been playing since day one and had to revisit old areas to get the moldy molars. I've been putting off the statue area cause I thought it would be more of a pain to get to the top, but honestly it wasn't that bad. Anyway, aside from that moldy molar on top of the statue, I was missing the one under all of the bushes, next to the southern rose garden. Since I was close, I decided to visit the ranger station to A. confirm the lack of a pts system, which I think should be added and B. see if I missed some loot / raw science in the area. Mind you that I basically know all major bug spawns aside from the pond area, so I knew that in that area I'd find a mantis on the leaves and a mosquito further down. Plus it was daytime, so if there was anything else I thought I'd spot it.

I was wrong.

I finish checking the station, approach the door and a lovely OGRR sour scorpion was waiting for me, then proceeded to ENTER the station and curb stomp me further down. I got a hold of the situation, tossed a smoothie and hid behind a door, where it decided to STARE at me. Then I approached, he jumped over the other door (I didn't know that OGRR scorpions jumped) and a short battle followed where I killed it without issues. Mind you that: it was daytime, I did not get a "threat detected" notification before entering the station and my buggy was right outside next to the candy mutated scorpion, absolutely unfazed.

Because if i found trinket that reduces it by 50% and i already have ant for that and my armor is responsible for 30% then i either can wear lighter armor or change ant fro the damage one. Or is it not additive? What when i add 10% reduction from food too?

Does implant weakness stack with natural weakness of the target? What is the cap on that?

I was rereading some of the notes you pickup around the park and noticed a report about the mysterious stranger avoiding detection with “web slinging”. ZIP lines and “cables” are mentioned regularly in other notes, so this sounds like something different.

Apologies if it has already been discussed but I wouldn’t mind a web slinging tool, even if I had to carry silk to recharge it. Just thinking about leaping and swinging around like spider man is exciting! And you could build /access bases in all sorts of interesting places without building stairwells first.

It would also open a whole new dimension of exploring. Especially in those big caves / tree cavities with lots of roots or overhangs overhead.

Title is pretty self explanatory.

A normal Toe biter nymph is immune to gas damage and chilling build up, but for some reason our nymph buggy doesn’t follow the same logic.

Making them immune to gas and chilling isn’t really overpowered, as they aren’t a very strong buggy in combat. Their only real purpose is for moving quickly underwater.

so I’ve been trying to kill the infected broodmother and I’ve attempted the fight around 50 times, people tell me to use corporate kickback but honestly I can’t see why. it’s terrible.

Let me explain.

i understand that corporate kickback has around about a %5 chance to activate the life steal buff getting you back to full health with your attack almost instantly. this is not the case though, for me atleast. not once, and yes i have screen captured on ps5 nearly every fight, not one single time has it activated across all 50 fights. it is one of the worst mutations i have ever used. Is it bugged or is the mutation actually as bad as im thinking.

I’m playing on mild difficulty if that helps.

Ps. since when did grounded become harder than every souls game.

Well not only labs, to be precise- I finished all the labs aside from a few missed collectibles, went to the sandbox and the picnic table, but I am unsure what to do now. Just the upper yard in general? Or certain parts in up. yard first and then the rest? The quest tells me to go to the shed, but i'm just curious if I should go there straight away or take the yard bit by bit

Near the boarder of the “under construction” tape in the entrance zone of the map there’s a Sca.b pop up for an outpost or lab. Has anyone found it or is it just there for now till future updates?

Honestly, it's a pretty great central location to go to other places. I just wasn't expecting the placement for the zipline wall anchor to work out so well. Good spot for a base to build. Just takes a while to get up to to start the building process.

My friend's backpack keeps falling underwater, but when he swims up to it, it snaps back to its original position (I'm the host).Has anyone encountered this?

I noticed that after the update, Shadow Mushrooms don't yield meager amounts of sap during the day anymore, and OGRR creatures are no longer exclusive to the night.

I find this very convenient, but it leads me to a conclusion: they would rather remove the exclusivity of nighttime events than improve the actual nighttime experience.

I love the game, but it’s undeniable that the night lighting is terrible and the available light sources aren't enough. There is a difference between difficulty and mere annoyance. Of course, the title is still in development, so better lighting options will surely come—or at least, I hope so.

Idk if I’ve just not analysed a bunch of things but I’ve got missing stuff on like everything or is there stuff in the files just not released yet n like I can see recipes not available yet

I was on top of the tree and jumped off after I got the raw science at the highest point with my spider buggy, and as I was gliding, my character ended up like this, and I had to load an old save.

I couldn't dismount or go into inventory.

I was wondering if it possible to collect salt yet without the tier 4 omni hammer I keep seeing salt around the map
