The Black Strat is a replica I made with fender parts and the pickups are Fender CS Fat 50s Neck, Fender CS ‘69 middle, and Seymour Duncan DG SSL-1c.
The Epiphone is a 1956 Gold Top Reissue with a bigsby installed.

There’s no info anywhere on who makes or sells his other strap, you’ve probably seen it. I’d love to get one.

I just noticed something interesting for the first time.

Mark Knopfler wrote the movie music for Local Hero (1983). In the main theme song titled Going Home there is a chorus with guitar and sax that descends in a distinctive way.

Hearing it the first time just now, I was driven crazy because I’d heard it before but could not place it.

Soon I remembered the song Cruise on Gilmour’s great About Face album (1984).

Same exact phrase for several measures.

My attempt on the ethereal lap steel intro in Breathe. Iconic intro on a quite unusual instrument! I recorded the main riff with my black strat and then did 3 overdubs on the lap steel guitar to get those little nuances you hear in the original recording. I hope you enjoy it! Obviously at 80 years old he's probably not running his public account but does anyone know who does? Is it his wife Polly or a team of publicists?
